If I had to hazard a guess I would say, if possible, they will treat this like dirt mountain. They will hold the ones with the issues and keep the line moving and sending out those broncos while working on Ice Mountain. This all depends on if this chip issue was a problem with a certain batch that was contained or if it is not enough chips and it will have a massive ripple effect. There really is no way to know until they say something, assuming they do.
You are probably right, and that makes me worry that our Broncos could be held well past May..if it’s anything like the dirt mountain broncos. We should prepare for radio silence for months.

I think you posted in the wrong forum?
Previously posters said at least both Acura and ram had absolutely nothing to check your order with on the customer end. Things could jump all over and you have no way of even knowing without constantly bugging the dealer.

I have a very simple question that I would like everyone's honest answer please. Let's say Ford ends up building 20,000 Broncos waiting on chips and only chips, then Ford gets a shipment of 5,000 chips, in what order should they be installed? By build date or by what Ford promised right from the beginning and honoring reservation time stamps?

Gonna bitch for a sec. So fed up with Ford as it feels like I’m constantly getting F’d by them. Right now got moved from 2/22 to 5/22. Of course got scheduled just before Raptor launch so missing out on ability to switch. Gonna cost more now for anyone that gets a loan as interest rates will be raised by time we actually can borrow. Gonna get a “new car” that has been sitting out in Detroit winter weather for 3+ months. Oh and Haven’t seen any of the Fordpass points promised for delays and Mod hardtop switch. Just a total joke and clown show by Ford

As if it is only chips holding up the dizzy reservation order scheme...

Watching all the build dates after us get their broncos before us due to our bad batch of chips is going to be tough..not gonna lie.
I don't think you have to worry about that, I think they stopped production

Ok so place a reservation and wait.
Get email for production date and wait.
That date gets changed. Gets changed again and again. Then the day comes and goes and you wait. You get a flag and calendar in the mail with no real reason why it is not being built. Tracker says in production and doesn't change dealer has no more info. Customer service can't tell you anything more than what the tracking reads.

Finally was able to get my order logged on the google sheet. Tracker has been down for 2 days for me so obviously I'm assuming I'm part of the chip hold. Window sticker has never changed since it became visible, activate button on pass, all things look favorable except my inability to access the pizza tracker 1/25 blend, EDD 2/28 (dealer said 2/14-2/28 a couple of days ago) whyyyyyyy... :******(
