Just dropped in at the lot to mess around inside an actual Bronco. Most the staff and dealers there looked defeated. Only one of them actually talked to me. Possible they are starting to normalize it but looked bummed out to me. :(
In general now is not a fun time for dealers.

I work at a CDJR dealer, pretty much all we can get for new inventory is sold when it is ordered.

I am in parts, getting parts is a nightmare too.

Yeah the lots pretty empty. And I wonder what is there, if it's actually for sale?
Anyway mines being delivered the 23rd, tracker even says so.

Just a little RANT! I'm #7741 in rotation and my luck the plant will close due to weather after building 7740. I reserved on 7/15/2020, 566 days ago. There are now three Broncos in my neighborhood as of today. I spoke to the woman driving one today and she owns two of the three. She ordered them 6 months ago and got one a month ago and one over the weekend. A WildTrak and a SAS Badlands both with soft tops. The other in the neighborhood is the exact same build I have minus MIC. After reviewing the spreadsheet I see so many similar builds with MIC and other constraints I don' t have scheduled and even built before mine with reservation dates in 2021 etc.. Ford has completely abandoned all common sense during this process and reservation dates mean absolutely NOTHING! Ugh... This has been the longest year and a half and I just want my F**king Bronco!!!!

Rant complete.
I am 7729 still don't see anything. How do you know they stopped at 7741

it seems that dealer allocation is quite possibly the biggest factor, even a bigger factor than constraints. i was reading in another post the other day that a dealer took over 200 reservations and didn't tell the people ordering, yet their allocations were nowhere near enough to cover those reservations, which is why a bunch of them still haven't even been scheduled. i wish dealers would be transparent about their allocations and then you could have decided to check with another dealer about placing a reservation/order.

side note: i'm a 1/24 blend but tear tag still says DAA, sync does not show up to date, pizza tracker still stuck at "in production". @Pdshepherd, i think i'm going to need that sticker you've got for your profile pic... LOL

Oh man that's rough. Did we get a confirmation they are closing the plant? I know snow is heading that way but it is Michigan - they are experts at dealing with it. It will hit me in Chicago before it hits them. Did you call your dealer to see if they can shed some light?

Sooo I called the 800 # the very nice lady told me I was "in production" and had an ETA of 2/26. I did tell her i was able to see that as well. Then she said, I do see that your NOT being held for a chip delay, so thats good news and that I will most likely get an update when i get scheduled to be shipped.
My dealer said the same thing. 🙏🏼🤞

They may be in between shifts. Typically 6am-2:30 pm and 6PM to 2:30AM. I saw a stop with the 1/26s a few days ago. THings were rolling, then paused, then got rolling again.

I believe that the chip delay may have been short lived at least for Broncos. I also think they paused production for two days two weeks ago to allow time to get more. Of course I am entirely speculating but if there was a true chip delay I don't think they'd be rolling them out this quickly.

Do we have any understanding of what tear tag change and estimated delivery date showing up actually means? Is there any correlation to anything real? Like passed quality control or something like that? Or is it all paperwork stuff or computer system synchronization voodoo?

I’m embracing the ice mountain moniker. Based on our status it has to be our situation. Chips. Snow. Ice. Who knows what next issue will be. Train robbers ?

Once your tear tag changes from DAA or D2A to one of the designated codes that means it is "built". My tear tag changed to NDZ2 which indicates a built order. EDD means when they expect your Bronco to be delivered. So mine is Convoy. To make it to Chicago by my EDD 2/19, I would expect it to leave MAP by 2/16 or so.
