That's the plan.
I am in favor of use commandeering this thread for all future communications.
^^ This. The club section stinks.. and getting everyone to migrate somewhere else gets people lost in the process, lol. I know I see some of you post in some of the facebook groups sometimes too.

Oh, definitely! We can all continue the kumbaya after delivery.

And a group reunion every January 3rd!
Haha! I like the reunion.

might as well keep this 1/3 family thread going until we hit 1000 pages lol 2/3 there
And well after! ;)

Which mud flaps did you order? I thought there was a an issue with mud flaps if you had running boards and 'squatch?
Personally I am waiting on RokBlokz. Had them on my Subaru once and they far exceeded our Rally Armors and I really liked them. They are set to release any day. As long as they fit with side steps I will be ordering.

https://rokblokz.com/collections/truck-mud-guards-mud-flaps/products/ford-bronco-2021-mud-flaps

My estimated delivery date changed from 2/2 to 2/6 on my tracker today! But the back door link still says 1/27-2/2. It’s shipped and should arrive at the final rail yard on 31st. I wonder why the date changed! Seems like others are as well. I can’t complain about a few days!
I wonder if they are adjusting due to trucking delays.

Guys and Gals I just have to say; I am in love with this thing. My Wife drove it for first time today and was like.......yep! It's awesome. So comfy to drive. About the same wait as our 2020 Corvette and likewise, so worth it. I am smitten!! So happy we pulled the trigger on this.
This comment makes me wonder - how many of you didn't drive a Bronco until you took yours home?
I drove 2 (Sasquatch 2.7 2 door OBX & standard 2.3 4 door OBX).. Mine is a standard 2.7 4 door OBX so my only curiosity is how the 2.7 will feel on the standard tires (More fun im thinking) otherwise, I know I love everything about driving them, haha.

Woo hoo! I have been refreshing my pizza tracker like a madwoman waiting for this update.

First day of the Bronco Experience

The Dealership, Gullo Ford of Conroe, lived up to all expectations, no shenanigans' at all.
Everything was as I asked with no complications.
We spent about an hour going over @Cat OCD List and my List of Do’s and Don’ts.
We found zero issues on the list, and we did check all that we could.

The Bronco was not washed as per my request, so that I really appreciated.

They knew about the Customer Satisfaction Program, and I got $500.00 in credit for Ford Accessors with I used. I got my MIC hardtop Credit for model year change $ 695.00. The applied the points for Ford Pass, but it might take a bit to show on my side. They did beat my APR from my local credit union, so I went with their Finance through their lender at an exceptional rate.

My Initial thoughts is the Bronco is a big beast, but not unreasonable. The wife didn’t want to drive it, so she drove back in the Raptor. 😊

The seating is great with lots of adjustments and I fit well, I was impressed. The steering wheel seems smaller that I am used to, but it only took a few minutes to get used to it.

It drove awesome, plenty of power once I remembered how to put it into Sport Mode 😊. The display is amazing, I wish my other trucks was nice. The Wireless Apple Play was easy to setup and worked perfect.

I did find the wind noise at the windshield was more than I like. I will need to figure out where the wind is getting through and see if there is a solution.

We picked her up with 12 miles and got home at 100 miles on the odometer.

We made one stop by a friend’s house to show her off. They ordered a bronco the same day we did and not even a VIN # yet. They are much happier waiting now and agree it is worth the wait.

She drove like a dream, no complaints on anything. Lots of power, very tight steering, stays in the lane perfectly. All the tech was fun.

It was a bit chilly but I had to get all that dirt and debris off of the Bronco so I can spend some time tomorrow cleaning the interior and seeing about adding some of my goodies I have ordered.

I think she cleaned up nicely for my initial treatment.

She is all put away for the night and will get some more TLC tomorrow.

Mud Flaps front and rear
Retro Design Stripes for the graphics.

From the internet the list is long.

Some orange Tow Hooks
I have on order a set of lights from Baja Designs but they are 6-8 weeks out.
We just installed the table last night.

pet owners with heated seats - what seat covers did you choose?

i went with coverking because were on ford accessories website and are made of neoprene which will withstand heat damage. in addition there isn't anything in product description that said don't use on heated seat. so based on those factors presumed ok to use on leather and heated seats and wouldn't mess with warranty..

so I was shocked to open the box and see huge warning to not use on heated seats.
Ford Bronco 🛠 1/3/22 Build Week Group 1643558529578

just emailed dealer asking for warranty statement.

i suspect chances of seat covers damaging heated seats are non-existent - but still need ford to provide warranty statement. If they say not covered then will be returning.

Did my first “Road Trip” in the Warthog (naming my bronco this since Ford didn’t use it & my fondness of Halo)

~130 Miles / 95% Interstate driving:

•I got around 20 MPG. Average speed was 75 mph. I only use the Adaptive Cruise Control. I will not drive distance without it.

•it handles the road excellently. Really impressed with how it drives. Very much like
My F-150 which I loved driving. Road noise isn’t an issue at all with my
Soft-top. It’s there above 60mph depending on the cross-wind but only a few decibels higher than my F-150 was at same speeds. Doesn’t affect conversations between my wife in the passenger seat & my 2YO in the back.

•Seats are extremely comfortable. Huge upgrade from my F-150 cloth seats.

•Love the B&O sound system. I’ve never had a good audio system in a vehicle before & am no audiophile but it’s the best I’ve personally experienced.

•Haven't thrown any rocks from my highway driving. However as soon as I hit some gravel roads it started slinging away. Running boards have absorbed all of those rocks so far. I also installed the lower body trail armor yesterday for additional protection and to cover up those ugly pinch welds.

Still in love. My wife also loves it to my surprise. My son has informed me that “it’s not Daddy’s Bronco, it’s my Big Green Bronco.”

Any issue with the trail armor and the running boards in together?

You have to remove the running boards to install. You take out 6 13MM Bolts (each side) to remove them. It’s simple other than that. There is a screw by the rear tire fender trim you have to remove and then screw threw the trail armor back into place. That was the only part that was challenging since there is no precut hole so you’re working blind to find the screw hole on the other side once you pierce the armor.

I had my dealer order the trail armor a few days ago. It should have been standard though. I can't believe how exposed the pinch welds are without the sliders. It's awful. lol.

It makes the Bronco look “finished” you don’t realize how much of an eye sore it is until you install the armor & then it’s like “Wow! It’s so much better!”

How tricky or easy was the install? My home improvement skills are pretty much @ lightbulbs and toilet paper (tho I did take shop in Adult Ed) :)
