If you have the soft top it is from the protectant that is applied to the fabric.

It is probably the silicone spray that is coming off of the rubber strips then. I have noticed the same thing on my Bronco too. I didn't really think about it until you posted this, but everytime I put silicone spray on my weather stripping or soft top on my Jeep I would get the same streaks.

If so it could be spray that was applied by your dealer as part of their 'prep' process. I know my tires were caked in that stuff, and and a result it went everywhere once I got on the highway.
