Woke up to no updates, so caved and called the CS line. Apparently, it was delivered last night. So, now I need to see what meetings I can move.

Welp! I called........got a different woman.......who had more info.....she said "its on a train", but might still be at MAP..... she gave me "Ramp 46" and rail car number CTTX 692709......

The bad news is SHE sees an estimated delivery of Feb 8 now.....instead of Jan. 31...

So, maybe, maybe I'm out of purgatory?

Hang in there Wesley.... it's coming and it will be well worth the wait. On a side note, USPS lost my vinyl order so the company is shipping me out more. Should have it be weekend I cut the script out and send it to ya. I am going to layer it with a matte outdoor vinyl to protect it even more.

do you know the difference between Cayce and Dixiana? I thought were same thing because only 7 miles apart.

mine updated last night to arrived in Cayce and have no clue if good or bad - I guess should take any update as positive

Mine left for Cayce at 2am.
My United Road tracking does still say "DCX DIXIANA RAIL RAMP (CSX)" for pickup.

Looking at the map the area for Cayce looks like a true Railyard (lots of rail lanes) and the Dixiana spot a few miles away looks like a little pull over area. I wonder if it's too congested at Cayce to also manage pickups so they train tow loads over to Dixiana for actual storage or pickup & loading.

Congrats! So, your post does bring up a big question for me on the price protection. I'm owed $825 for my BD....I called my dealer and talked to the sales manager. He looked it up on "Vinson", but still said that I somehow had to obtain the voucher from Ford......

I have no idea how I'm supposed to do this.

I'm gonna tag @pr0xy on this since we have the same dealer.

So, my wife just reminded me that the lingo our dealer used was “Private Offer” when he came back from checking into “price protection” with his manager. He wasn’t gone for more than a minute when he came back with some printout showing a $975 credit from Ford. I’m not sure what system his manager pulled it from, but our dealer explained that on other vehicles there will sometimes be private offers from Ford that show up on his screen indicating that the person purchasing has an extra discount waiting for them. He pointed to his own screen in front of us showing us where those normally show up and for us there was nothing there but a blank area. That’s why he wasn’t aware of it when I first brought it up. I was asking about “price protection” but once he checked with his manager he said there was in fact a “private offer” that Ford had sent that was attached to my name but for whatever reason it didn’t automatically populate on his screen the way these private offers typically do. So it may come down to the lingo used for the dealer to better understand what they are looking for.

2. We have a no-meetings on Friday policy...so I'd only have to move 1 meeting tomorrow

Yea, and that's pretty much word for word what the sales manager said to me on the phone, EXCEPT he said I needed to get the voucher......but that's like telling me I need to build a time machine.....how the hell do I do that....

I don’t think they use them. Nothing comes up with my VIN on their website. My dealer mentioned that they have “a guy” that hauls back and forth from the yard each day

I don't know what you do for a living, but best I can tell they make you work entirely TOO much. I'd quit that place. If my employer required me to work more than 2 hours a day I'd quit.
