Ok, I have a birthday in a few weeks and family has asked for ideas.

What y’all got for some fun or must have additions less than $200?

Couple ideas I pondered:
Script Bronco
Gearshade Top (torn between orange, white, black)

What does the gearshade top do for you? Less wind? Blocks the sun?

I even got an email from united road this morning about an Explorer that arrived at my dealer today/last night, lol. I saw it was just picked up yesterday on the united road tracker too. I think once they actively load it and scan it or whatever they do, it will update.

Didn't you say you had a friend with a First Edition that had been waiting 1-2 weeks due to backlog though? Or did I misunderstand or was it someone else?

My tracker last night changed from Shipped back to Built Not Shipped. This caused quite a panic with my wife. Thanks to having been down THAT road before, I assured her it would say shipped in the morning.

And it did! Months of learning Ford's software kinks finally paid off.

No idea where my truck is right now. According to Google Maps, it's a 9.5 hour drive from MAP to my dealer, and since I have a 3 hour meeting tomorrow afternoon, I have an ironic understanding of when it'll arrive.

Update for me this morning - it's off the train and due at the dealership on Friday. Time to get the financing in order....

Morning Campers..... well mine is still setting at MAP I reckon, nothing has updated. So I guess it's back to hurry up and wait. I know last week my dealer said they were still waiting on some December builds to show up, guess they haven't gotten any shipments of Broncos in a while.

Same. Went back through all trackers and I sit still “in production” since 1/6 estimated delivery of 1/22. I’m 5 hours from the plant and KNOW that she’s built but nothing has updated. ROADTRIPPPPPP

Mine populated on their website at least two weeks ago - I first checked when we got into the 1/3 week and it was there so no telling how long it was showing as inventory. That being said- i've read that some dealerships are more proactive in going in and removing personal orders from their viewable inventory.

yup - I saw mine auto populate on dealer website then was gone couple days later - called dealer and he said they manually take down the ones that are orders. Thankfully my dealer has been super awesome (signed my order on day 1 saying not a penny over msrp) and transparent throughout the entire process.

Mine has been on my dealers site since 12/20/2021.

Just type your VIN# into google and you will see the results showing your dealer and a link to the page its on. My dealer page doesn't have a link for the window sticker either.

Primarily just blocks the sun. May be less wind but not less wind noise. Has some small storage pockets and can be left up with Soft-Top. I am mostly bald and shaved head, so might save my head from scalpel.

So I have spent the last 20 minutes going back and looking at all the delivers to my dealership since Sept. Best I can tell Cassens Transport doesn't deliver from MAP, only Louisville and Chicago. I have no clue what company brings in the Broncos. I have emailed my salesman to see if he knows.

still waiting for update from dealer on how bad the backlog is in Dixiana. He's off today but will be back tomorrow. Mine is ready to be put on truck to dealership - could be today , week, or longer...

and unfortunately even though my shipment populates on United Road its useless. I've entered dozens of FY21/22 VIN's I know are at dealership and all show inactive with no delivery receipt. I suspect because dealership has changed names couple times so the wrong name is shown as the destination - another glitch in the matrix.

Did get some good news - he said the truck he's been waiting over a week for wasn't delayed because of backlog - but because its a dually and they can't just throw it on any transport truck, only certain ones - and the bronco won't have that issue.

Same @Jazer! Florida sun + leather seats + shorts = must have investment.

The Gearshade is the only one on my radar. The Bestop has a bar that goes across the middle (obstructing the openness which is the whole point of being topless) and apparently flaps a lot more.
