He did, and laughed it off as a fluke batch of parts. I asked how widespread and he said it "isn't even a thing" so i'd presume, as others have seemed to figure out, that it was a crummy batch and hopefully will be a non-issue going forward.

He expressed compliments towards both engines, tbh, but really was a fan of the 2.7. I never considered it due to the 7 speed, but I get the feeling it'll be a small blip compared to all the other frustrations we've had :)
That is promising. There are rumors flying in the one 2.7 tracking thread that there was a parts change and replacement engines are on hold for some waiting due to ford engineers redesigning some parts... so that seemed concerning, but again rumors and a little bit of "my dealer said". Nice to hear almost directly from an engineer that worked on the 2.7 that it was a fluke bad batch of parts which ties into the original thinking.

So according to CSX, my train departed the next town up the tracks from me about an hour ago. There are different directions it could go in after that, but one option puts it going through our closest town here in a few minutes. Had no idea it might come this close on its way down to the depot!

I guess the question is, when I drive over to physically remove it from the train myself, do I leave payment in cash or check? And do I pay the engineer, or just tape the payment to the deck where the Bronco was?

I think its best to just leave an IOU and let the dealership contact you about payment

I guess at this point I've waited since 7/13 what's another few weeks, day's at Table of 9... I did see a Bronco on I-70 going west up in the mountains....he must have had the 2.3...he couldn't keep up with me in the mountain passes. I guess I've gotten spoiled with the Diesel engine and torque...lol Back to the table of 9..

I'm in the same boat. The early blend 12/22 broncos are all stuck without even mods popped. From the other earlier build weeks it looks like QC usually gets resolved in 3 weeks from the "in production" date, which is 1/3/22 for me. So my expectation at this point is early next week it will go to "Built" and released for shipping. My current EDD is 1/31/22 and I look at that as a "ship by" date at this point. I'm thinking mid February for an actual delivery date.
Same boat as y’all. But my EDD is 1/28/22. Still holding out hope for a January delivery, but it’s not looking good. Just surprised that date hasn’t changed.

~~ I O U ~~

Thanks for ordering your Bronco Payment™️! Get ready to get Paid Wild™️!

We are hard at work assembling your payment. Production and delivery of your payment can take 2 months to 1 (or more) years, depending on amount, denominations requested, and your location. Or we may just decide to delay your payment for kicks.

In the meantime, here are about 6 different online trackers you may use to attempt to track production and delivery of your payment. None of them will work reliably, if at all, but it is fun for us to watch you get frustrated as you wait, and wait. We promise to email you at key points in the process (spoiler alert: we won’t actually do that). If we ship your payment by train, expect extensive delays and phone trackers that make the online trackers seem first-class. We may send you a picture of your money at some point, or not. Suck it up.

Get excited, stay pumped, and get ready to get Paid Wild™️! Eventually. Maybe.

Does this mean my Bronco is waiting in Delaware to head to Chapman??

Or since it says "Inactive" could mean it's just a place holder and hasn't been picked up from Ford?

And I have another tracker to check every morning.

I was inactive for about a week and then changed to pending pickup the other day so hopefully you're just waiting to get to the yard in DE.

I'm not sure how the pickup process works once you make it to the yard though. I was one of only 3-4 vehicles on the list for Chapman over the weekend, then that updated to like 10+ vehicles for Chapman yesterday. I got a delivery receipt email this morning from United and looks like I was skipped over for some of the ones that just showed up yesterday. I've gotten pretty good at waiting at this point though ;). At least I know it's close.

Here is an interesting story:
My best friend and myself (we are neighbors) both ordered the exact same build (100%). Ordered at same dealer at the same time.
I reserved on July 13 7min after the reveal, and he did an hour after. I was number 1 allocation out of more than 120 at my dealer. He was 11.

Both our window stickers show a blend date of 12/23 with mine being position 200 before his that day. Now comes the interesting part:

He got a « built » and « shipped » status as well as a production picture. The dealer confirms he can see his bronco tracking on rail currently halfway there. It’s a matter of days before delivery.
Mine on the other ends is still stuck in production status showing an ETA updated to 1/27 but doesn’t show as built nor shipped.

2 possibilities here: my bronco is sitting right in the same cargo as my friend and it’s just Ford tracker that doesn’t work.
Or, my Bronco despite the exact same built and same blend date is stuck at MAP for quality issue.
I really hope it’s the former.

Prior to today what was the status on the trackers?
Built 1/4 and that was it. It said "waiting to ship". No update on palsapp either. Even to this day

Were you tracking rail before the trucking site? What's the rail log in?

I'm in the same boat, or should I say train? Bronco was unloaded Friday in Lawrenceville and now waiting on delivery to my dealer in Alpharetta. palsapp.com shows my vin as "pending" and the dealer has my VIN listed for sale on their website (although I understand every inbound vehicle gets auto-populated). Let me know what you hear from your dealer on delivery and I'll do the same. Maybe they share the same truck headed this way for delivery?
Mine as well!
