Following…I've got a spate 933 fob and transceiver sitting here waiting to install. I haven't torn into it yet to see where exactly it goes. I ordered it just for the off chance it would work.
Not having remote start when you have no less than 2 safeties available to ensure its not in gear and the brake is set just seems ridiculous to me.
LMAO, thank for the laugh Butzy, needed thatWow! I got roasted for suggesting this a few months back.....
No. Pressing the clutch did not make this work. It is a combination of having the telematics control module for a automatic plus a bunch of little work around to get it to work. This is dangerous so a working solution will not be published. For those wanting to experiment with the settings, drop me a pm.As mentioned earlier, did pressing the clutch pedal allow the remote start to operate?
After you changed the RTM, how did you add the new key fobs(s)?
I ordered an RTM from Ford parts for the 902 mhz version. Also ordered the remote start Bronco key fob from the same parts.ford.com website. Cost a total of $105. The RTM is located on the roll bar cross member behind the overhead lamp. I programmed the remote first and then replaced the RTM. Programmed in forscan with the as built data and it worked as a key fob. Remote start is still a work in progress.
