I live in Minnesota and would love to have a hardtop instead of my soft top right now. If anyone has one for sale please DM me.

Not sure if you are still looking, but someone listed a hardtop on Facebook Marketplace. Guy lives in White Bear Lake and is looking for $5500. Meanwhile, if you know anyone selling a OEM soft top I'm looking for one of those.

@Bird Dog Overland just posted this update on the Anderson Composites Hard top he added. It looks like they may have fixed some of the issues Ford slipped up on. Might be better to get a better aftermarket top, rather than a discarded OEM top prone to issues.

Is this a complete 4-door roof kit with everything needed to install (glass panels, hardware, weatherstripping, etc?). The details on the website are very vague to what is included.
Yeah, where did you come up with that? When you search that same website, no roof kit comes up in the results…
So after some Googling, it seems that’s the part number Ford would send to dealers to replace the faulty 1.0 tops under warranty. However, the replacement procedure included re-using the entire rear window assembly from the original vehicle, as well as installing new rear quarter windows - which have their own part numbers, so I assume were ordered separately - and having the dealer glue the windows in using a very specific procedure and materials.

https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2021/MC-10202718-0001.pdf

So even if this “kit” can be ordered from dealers or suppliers for ~$4,000, you would also have to buy all the windows, wiper motors, etc., and have someone install the quarter windows. Plus shipping and tax. So you’re definitely pushing the price well into Anderson/ADV territory at best…

Ok that makes a lot of sense now. Thanks for posting that. I like the ADV roof but they don't make a 4-piece option. The Anderson looks great but my only concern is the finish in some closeup pictures seems to have too much texturing. I wish I had the opportunity to see one in person.
