I did the film and a deflector. Lots of pings and pockmarks after a year and a half, but that's it.

I did the film. First road trip, cracked at far upper left corner. Minor, not fixing since it is only at top corner and about 3 inches long edge to edge - BUT, film did not work :(

Took delivery of my WT in March and my 2nd windshield is already cracked! I was hoping that Exoshield was going to work, but I’m afraid it’s the angle of the windshield that it’s the problem. So instead of deflecting an object, the windshield just absorbs most of the impact energy and cracks or starbursts.

My windshield got chipped the first month I had my bronco.:( We did a DIY patch for that and promptly got a deflector for the front of the hood only.
Next month will be 18 months of bronco fun with the same windshield and no further chips or cracks. (y)

Anyone try and have any luck with the hood deflector such as the Aeroskin II?

Yeah, looks great for one (I'm in kind of black and Cyber mode) and I've only gotten pits and pockmarks, couple of hard hits. Many are still low, so I don't know how much it's helping. But ANYthing that helps is help.

Be warned, Exoshield does not warranty your windshield against cracks or breaks. Only their product is warrantied. They used to sell additional insurance, but I think they stopped.

Well, then, what's the warranty for? If it didn't work....seems like a claim?

I think that the product itself will not peal or yellow.

We got the hood deflector with our ford rewards points and took a trip from San Diego to Sierra Vista AZ. and no rock hits to the windshield, we did get bugs but they hit above eye level so the deflector seems to work pretty good so far.

Thank you for that reply about the hood deflector. Sounds like it definitely could help reduce the amount of rocks hitting the window.

Exoshield is also only good for 2yrs and have it on two vehicles. One is right at 2yrs and starting to show water spots and difficult to see out of. If I had known about the 2yrs I don't think the cost is worth it.

I put on Stek Dynoflex film one month after I got it, so November, 2021. I have had about 6 hits from rocks that I have seen, heard many more, but the film is as good as new. Just remember that it is a film, and don't use a scraper to remove ice..... let it warm up, and the ice will come off very easy.
Best investment I have made, but just incase, I also added a hood deflector.
