Hey everyone just a quick question. I just received my window sticker and wasn’t sure about pricing.

I know price protection.l isn’t showing on the base price - but what about for add-ons?

For Instance the MIC top is showing $1895 (I know there was recently a price increase). My res/order is from 2/12/2021 and I’m curious if there’s some kind of price protection on that too? Or am I going to have to eat that increase?

Thanks for any/all info

Only your Dealer can answer that question….

Good luck!

From my experience of purchasing 2 recently I got a $3645.00 rebate on both. 1 was a base and 1 was a BD.

A question for the dealer...

And even then any rationality and expectation can end up out then window in the end as the dealer sets the final price.... Hopefully you don't have any of those sorts of dealer games. Too many have gotten surprised when their car comes in with dealer shenanigans.

When you say add-on what do you mean? Something added to the order later or a dealer added option? I wouldn't expect such to be necessarily covered under price protection.

I am guessing though that you mean optional equipment that is part of the vehicle build. In that case I wouldn't sweat the detail of what increased within the vehicle price. Retail order price protection should give it to you at the price on the build sheet at the time you ordered unless changes were made after the order. The other price protection amounts are for increases that occurred when rolling over from one model year to the next.

That said, ford seemed to be making a stink about people needing to remove constraints when rolling over from 2022 to 2023 so retaining a constraint like the hard top they may have exempted that from any price protection. So again maybe back to the dealer to ask.

Good news is you got a sticker so build is going to happen so you won't lose all price protection like if it didn't get built in the 23 model year.
