Hey guys! Longtime reader first time poster here and I can’t seem to find anything that goes into detail on decoding some of the window sticker info. I’m really hoping there is someone on here that can answer a few questions for me.
What is the MIC number on the top left of the window sticker? Also the number behind the blend number?
Any help from you guys is appreciated I can’t wait for this thing to show up!

Blend date ....20210720..or .. 2021 - 07- 20 .... when it is expected to hit the final assembly stage .... July 20th, 2021

Rotation number ... 8752 ... a number between 0001 and 9999. Your builds place in line. The vehicle in front of you will be 8751 , behind you will be 8753. When they hit 9999 a day or two later, it rolls over to 0001 again.

The date on the bottom .... it just updates weekly while it is in the system.

Just looked it up, not sure but there was talk of a fleetwide tracking number???

My official guess....
MIC - would be Michigan as in Michigan Assembly Plant and the number is obviously the identifier.

I base that on seeing a truck built at Dearborn with a DRB- xxxxxxx number and from earlier discussions about the "national" or "corporate" or whatever term was used.

For reference , my build date was July 14th with a rotation number of 5272 ....so 5 days later there you were, some 3500 builds later.
Knowing that they were at full speed, it all adds up.

We had an insider feeding us the approx rotation numbers they ended each day with, so I was able to guess that mine would finish LATE on the 14th or some time on the 15th.
Later on my build date posted as the 15th on the B6G build tracker.

Never even thought of that as a plant code. What was the intention behind the fleet wide tracking number? First I’ve heard of that. It fits right in line with what you are saying though. Good insight.

Yep that does add up. And I suppose you are in same boat waiting on the MIC 2.0? Or did you get a delivery date?

MIC is not for the Assembly plant. Michigan is known as map.

across the top is
blend/final assembly date: 2021-07-20
sequence number: 8752 - where your bronco falls in line in reference to ???
daily unit number: 689/865 - where your bronco falls in line for the blend date. (865 units expected to be produced that day)

date on the bottom. Mine was updated twice. First date was when window sticker became available, probably the start of production. Second time was on (and equal to) the blend date. Maybe it updates everytime some significant build state is encountered?

That’s something I’m not sure of either is why it was updated again on Aug 31 nothing has changed on it since the first time it was available except the updated date on the bottom.
Also the MIC000040 on the top left is something I was curious about but no one seems to know what that is for.

have no idea about the MIC number. mine is MIC-006395.

not sure how Ford is handling the undeliverable broncos. i've read here the date on the bottom updated daily, weekly, randomly. if it's tied to some production status/update, maybe the internal system keeps shuffling through these broncos every week looking for MIC top availability? when the missing parts aren't available, they go back to the waiting queue. repeat that every week/month/whatever period until the missing parts are available and they pull your bronco back to some finishing area.

complete guess here.

Just because the plant is known as "MAP" doesn't mean they don't use the code to be "MIC" in a computer system. Computer codes don't always match up with human acronyms.

If it makes you feel better, you can pretend it means "Molded In Color" because that's what we are used to seeing MIC stand for... Or maybe it stands for "Michigan is Cold".... or "Meaningless Information Code"
