It's just a vehicle. I worry more about what I'm eating for dinner than Ford's lackluster performance over launching a new vehicle.

I'm for sure not doing this whole process again.

I'm 90% sure I'm going to see it through and get my Bronco, even though it isn't the best fit for my needs. When I get it I'm always going to look back and say that this shit wasn't worth it.

As a general rant against Ford, I wish they wouldn't release vehicles so far away from production. Take notes on what Honda did: unveil the Civic as a prototype, then when it's ready for production reveal the real thing. I love that about them. See that new car? You can go get it right now at your local dealer.

I for one would never run around and desert you.

But then again, I also don't think ford owes me Jack and/or Squat in terms of individual status updates, staffing updates, commodity shipping info or anything else. I'm a customer. I'm buying a vehicle from them which is my personal choice, that's it, that's where the relationship is.

They are not my best friend, i'm one of millions of human beings on Earth buying a product from them. They don't owe me anything except a product when they are ready/willing to make it to take my money. It's a transaction.
But...but...they "PROMISED"! :cry::rolleyes:

Walk a mile in their shoes. I'm fine with where we are and where we are going under the circumstances.

I’m cursing them now. Bitching and moaning each day. But, when I finally take delivery I’ll forget about all of this.

All the negativity will go when the Bronco comes.

Once I get my hands on one what ever happened in the past is exactly that, the past. Never was one to dwell on stuff or hold grudges. Life is too short for that shit.

Am I happy with how they handled everything? Not one bit, but it's all out of my control. I'm also in no position to bitch anyways since I don't even have a reservation.

Gotta have a little perspective with all this. Would anyone really be this upset if we didn't have a forum to continually gripe on? Sure, we're all super excited and impatient but at the end of the day, we are all in a place in our lives where we can actually afford a new vehicle. My first vehicle was a 1985 Pontiac Bonneville (it was 16 years old by the time I received) and it didn't go in reverse because I blew the transmission doing donuts in the winter and couldn't afford to get it fixed. As badly as I want this new car, I know truly it won't make me any more or less happy than I am right now

thank you for coming to my Ted talk

I have nothing to forget or forgive, I'll get mine when it's ready.
So far things are running the way I expected, talked to my dealer twice (plus a handful of e-mails to place the order and switch from dual to MIC) since reserving and don't intend to do so again until it's time to actually buy the thing.

It's just a car. If you hold a grudge against a company for being shitty you need to seek help. Pretty much all companies have done something to piss customers off.
Holding a grudge because a company is shitty doesn’t make sense to you?

How the hell else does the consumer have any control over multi billion dollar corporations other than holding them accountable when they show egregious behaviour or anti customer practices?
