Smoke and Fire? Its okay. More of a burger joint that also sells some BBQ. Pulled pork and sausage are good. Never tried the brisket. We go when we see a concert at 50 West.
Oh ok. It has a little Marty B's vibe looking at it, and I like their food and drinks. Funny, takes me 10m longer to get to Bartonville than to get to Krum. Which is mostly backroads, where I might use my off road lighting... lol 🤐

I like Marty B's but I live 3 minutes from Smoke and Fire. Guess which one wins most times? :ROFLMAO:

Yeah, I don't live close enough to ride my horse, that's for sure! I did use to live down 407, though. I'm an RG burger guy. Denton is not a bbq haven, that is for sure. I'll drive to 407 BBQ or Marty B's if I don't want to go into Dallas or across the lake.

As quality and craftsmanship get to a certain level, then the scale of economics goes exponential. For example, you can buy a speaker to get you 95% of your listening needs for $100. The last 5% that get you to 100% will cost you 5-10x that amount. I think a lot of people are looking for value on here and that unfortunately can be a tough find with the LED market changing so much.

I'm not going to spend multiple hundreds for ditch lights because I may need to light a ditch up only a couple of times a year. More frequent off roaders may see value in the hundreds of dollar lights because they need it every week.
I drive weekly through towns with deer as the speed deterrents, and even with Moritmoto headlights, I still run all the lights so I don't get messed up when one goes Kamikaze. Yellow for whatever reason calms 'em down, plus the Diodes I got really illuminate everything.

Had cheap lights that also did the trick, but then one day it mysteriously detached from the bracket and went missing, I have no idea to this day whatever happened to the old pod

RG is good, LSA is good. Rooster's is my hangout if I am going into town. Juicy Pig is as good as it gets here unfortunately (IMHO).

Oh yeah, love Roosters, I always get the Cuban. I remember when they fried the homemade chips and gave them as free appetizers. I used to live across the street from Juicy Pig, when it was a hair stylist in there. I hear it's not too bad. I don't know if you ever went to the Smokehouse on Fort Worth Drive but back in the day it was good enough. It was decrepit by the end, though.

Nope, I lived in BBQ heaven (Central Texas) when I retired from the Army until 2019. Moved up to Denton area and sorely miss my HEB and several BBQ joints. Still need to hit up Goldee's and a few other places here as well.
