I would argue that clicking your fob as you walk away is more convenient than closing the door all the way, having to locate a button on the door, pressing it, then walking away.
You're touching the door to close it anyways

I don't think it's necasarily any faster than using the fob, it's just a different motion and probably a similar effort. The savings is on the unlock, that's much more convenient with intelligent access

I think the mid package includes everything they took out to give it a cheaper sticker. The mid has pretty much everything my now sold VW had standard except for auto wipers and lights, no understanding why those aren't in this pkg or even available. I'd go with high maybe for the bigger screen, will have to see once final pricing hits but those are the only extras I'd want and won't need auto start since I'll be keeping the manual.

Why should you get it? Why not, 1500 gives you most of the niceties for a daily driver, would you miss them, don't know what you're used to in what you drive now but the proximity key alone is awesome once you're used to having it probably the same with auto start for those getting the automatic.

My wife has Auto High-Beam Headlights Dude this is stupid nice. (Always wanted this)

Personally I going High Package for the
360-deg Camera (Always wanted this with having kids)
12in LCD
Additional sound deadening (for the long drives)
My wife has Auto High-Beams as well and they are very nice.

Well they aren't full auto it depends on what I set the AC in the house to.

Mid package for heated seats and for dual zone auto climate control.....i am shocked how im like the only one who values that feature lol.

I will never have another vehicle without it. I will never go back to the dial with just fan speeds

1000%

Set it and forget it, auto climate is mandatory

I'm not sitting around screwing with the fan and temp and airflow direction setting

Doesn't the standard package have android auto and apple car play already? I am debating whether or not to go for the mid package or stay with the standard package.

For me it's the heated seats and (if I end up with the 2.7 & AT) remote start. I live in MT and it gets really cold and I would use both of those features every day. I'd leave all the other stuff off if I could, don't need or want them.
Same for me except I live in ME not MT. Gets pretty nippy around here in winter and the heated seats and remote start will be good. Oh and also mainly because my wife told me to get them.....

The rest of the package is fluff.

The 8 inch screen is standard on the standard package.

I have to admit there was a time I had to have it all...and did....last 5 years I have had 3 max optioned F150's.....but I guess I have just changed and want things simpler...if the mid package works better for some...it is good that it is there....as the high and lux...I am fortunate that the Bronco is just an extra toy for me and gonna keep it a simple cruiser that will have top off full time and mood and weather will dictate it's use....yall enjoy your builds....we all have different moving parts in our lives....be happy

Agreed. Why go mid when the Lux exist.

if you’re gonna go, go all the way.
My wife heard the B&O stereo in the Mustang and now we cannot get anything that doesn't have it. So, Lux package it is for us. Not that I'm complaining, since there's other cool stuff in Lux, too, like the full non-subscription nav (which I normally might not care as much about, but the trail maps are really cool), extra charging ports--can never have too many, the universal garage door remote, and adaptive cruise is cool, too. Heated steering wheel in winter can never be bad. :) So, in for the B&O and the rest comes along.

My only worry is as I'm loading up on automatic on-demand 4WD, preferably painted white hardtop, leather, lux and maybe the V6, it might get a bit spendy. We may have to make some choices.

Do you plan to only get the standard package and not the mid package?

I like tech so I'll get the mid as I see at least 2/3rds of it being useful. Definitely heated seats, dual climate control, reverse sensor and depending on this sub nav system works. Of course if I change to Wildtrak then it's standard so no choice. Might even upgrade to high. Just wish cooled seats were an option. Just don't understand that at all!
