Great question and a lot of great comments. Here is my take. Love the tech in the OBX but the rugged appearance of the BD.
My solutions:
Fender Flares and Mirror caps: wrap them to match bumpers.
Wheels & Tires: try to get BD steelie take offs and change out to a more aggressive All Terrain tire like a BFG KO2. If I keep the wheels change tire size to LT275x65x18 and I get the same circumference with a more aggressive tire. This would keep me from having to have Ford change the speedo setting.
Change out tube steps with Rock Rails
Add locking rear diff, accessory switches, floor liners and maybe modular bumper.
What I then get is the aggressive look that is fully off road functional with the tech I want for very little aftermarket hassle. Oh yea, and it is much less than a BL comparably equipped.
My plan is to maximize the combo of tech, lux (for the wife) and off road. So just cut to the chase and SASQ it! Heavy duty bash and steel bumper, switches and maybe change out the boards for a power folding set that serves as rock rails when retracted. Come on 2021!

I live in South Florida (Hot as Hell, no snow, hills, mud, etc...all roads level and straight) I'm going to order white body and white hard top. Will look great with white mirrors, door handles, and fender flares. Love the standard wheel. Also ordering Top Sound Dead, High Package (More sound dead, etc), and wheel locks. Was going to order mud flaps but now not available B&P. Thinking about leather seats, but $2100 a pile of money. Wish they would offer MGV option for other trims.
Based on the heat index and color scheme you are going with, you might get the base interior and use the 2200.00 you might have used on the leather to get a custom (Katskin?) upholstery in a very light shade and they can do it in MGV.

I'm looking to add a set of power steps, but I'm not sure how that works with the doors off. The extension/retraction of the step is linked to the door open/close.

THAT is an excellent idea! I could arrange a white snakeskin interior, and call it "The Liberace Edition." (Calling patent attorney now...)

Thanks. I’d like to know interior hardtop colors. If dark I will probably go badlands , if tan I’d go OBX with leather interior.
Jake if the MIC Bronco top is like the black hard top on my Wrangler (and I suspect it is) it will be the same color inside as outside as they have no head liner.

HotHead headliner has black, and tan liners for the Jeep. I don't know at this time if they will have different colors for the Bronco's. But, I will attest to the quality of their headliners. I have them in my Jeep.

The (now-departed) Webasto employee on here said it's a gray fiberglass (?) mesh. There are some real pictures of the interior of the hard top somewhere around here.

Thanks for the info., it's just as I suspected. It actually looks a bit worse than the hard top on the Wranglers.

Are Wrangler hard tops no longer white on the inside?

In any case, from the pics, the interior of the Bronco hard top looks way better.

I'm hoping to order my 2-door OBX pretty much the same way white, white top, high pkg, and sound deadening but no wheel locks. If I catch some body stealing the wheels/tires I'll help load them in the perp's vehicle.:D

I agree with Bronco Jay. If your here it's Ford Bronco so, don't hate. If not, Hyundai might have something to suit you...

The one I was thinking of was the one on the four door white over CG prototype. Obviously it is a custom one off, but it is beautiful .

Yep, probably have to forgo them while the doors are off. Something to consider.
