I have a Sasquatch with 37s on the stock wheels. I’m using 35mm wheel spacers which puts my wheels at -6mm.
I also have a 2.25” rpg perch collar lift with a winch in the front which probably reduces my lift by 0.5”
At the moment I haven’t off roaded but on the road it doesn’t rub.

I plan on using a Jks max wheel kit.

Visually, 17x9 -12mm would be the best in terms of “poke” without being like a skateboard or RC truck.

I have 17x9 with -6 and I don't think you want to go farther out, probably in a little so I suggest the 17x9 with 0 offset.

+12 really worked well for me. I did cut the corner off the front crashbar mounts and plan to completely remove them, but went trail riding and tire is barely rubbing at the front at full lock. (See dirt mark at plug weld in first pic).
I had already cut an inch or so off the rock rails and have bro flaps that hug tight away from the tires.

Are those 37s? Any rubbing issues?
Love that style of wheel.

Yes, 37x12.5x17. The BFG KO2's tend to run a little smaller so I haven't had any rubbing.

+12 mm offset helps reduce scrub radius staying closer to oem design values. Oem sas has a scrub radius of 10-15mm depending on alignment camber angles (0-1 degree).

True 37” tires on a +12mm offset rim have about a 25mm scrub radius, not bad at all. If you can keep +12 offset rims from rubbing that would be my choice. Some minor trimming and/or crash bar mount clearance kits.

I went with 17x9 with 0mm offset.
I went with Ion 171 that look similar to your wheels but a little less expensive.

No choice for 17x8.5 +12?… It would be my choice…not a fan of 9”+ wide wheels off road (debeading/rock rash(damage))…+12 to stay narrow and improve scrub radius…Icon doesn’t offer +12 and so went to zero because I like their “beadlock” design…everything is a compromise…

8 or 8.5 at +12 offset would have been my choice too, but alas the wheels I ended up with are 9” and apparently more common with a +12 offset. Like you said, everything is a compromise.

17x8.5 0mm for me. Sasquatch with about a 2.25" lift. Oh....standard fender flares.
Looks great! I remember when you started that build. I finally upgraded from 35’s to 37’s recently. (non-sas BD) Wish I had skipped straight to the 37’s honestly.

Thank you and agree 100% on the 37's. The only issue I've found is my MPG has crashed and with the spare being larger, gotta find a new way to haul extra fuel. Ugh
