This is off subject, but would you mind taking a picture of your floor lights? I am trying to find where they are located so I can see if the wiring harness is there on my Bronco.

I forgot about those stupid lights but they mildly annoyed me on the first night. There's no reason for a glow on the hero buttons when they're all lit anyway. Some little rubber caps would be nice.

I like the look of the ambient lighting. This specific blue is really nice on the eyes.
Still, it would be great to have the option to turn off the lights. And there's no benefit to having them on during the day.

Would be really nice to be able to change the colors, adjust the dimmer, or turn them off. Like my '13 Mustang had nearly 10 years ago, and it also had a V8 and was nearly half the price.

Wasn't everything 10 years ago about half the price? :)

Any further progress on this? I'm about to cut little circles out of electrical tape to put over them. A few hours of driving tonight moved me from annoyance to full on dislike.

I don’t mind the little blue light in the front of the cabin. I find the 4 map/dome buttons a challenge to quickly locate by feel. I wish they were bumped out. With 6 upfitter switches right there next to all that it would probably be possible to redo things to your liking.

Better too many lights than not enough,

My 96 only has a dim orange light NEXT to the 4wd button; It gives you a general idea of where to press but on a dark night trying to hit it always takes an extra second to get on target.

I honestly don't understand why ford couldn't be bothered to illuminate that button, the radio, heater controls, and the defrost button right below the 4wd button all have the old ford green/blue illuminated text.

Those lights have a low/med/high or off setting. Through settings in the center screen.
