I am not a fan of big tires. I like the look of the stock 255s, not a fan of big tires. I would even like an 8.9" wide tire. :) But not going to keep the stock tires.

As stated the rear locker. That is the single best improvement that you can make to a base 4X4. Second would be the front locker.
I have 3.73, probably should have said that. So only option for a 3.73 rear would be the Dana 60 in 3.73 but like I was saying for about the price of their rear I can do both ends.

Which would be, what, an Eiffel tower?

you can buy the 3.73 gears and the locker from dana and have them installed. It would cost around what a 220 rear in 4.46 would cost.

However, if you abhor tall tires then this might be your best bet. If you are not going to lift, I think you'd be better served with a winch and belly skids.
