Bought my wife a new 2024 2-door Heritage this past Saturday. While driving to an appointment on Monday we made a right turn and this little rubber cap fell from the steering column/dash area and hit my foot. Looks like a valve stem cap, but it is rubber and has no threads.

Any leads on what it could be? I was thinking a cap to go over a bolt? I pulled into a nearby parking lot and looked in the area it seemed to fall from and didn’t see anything. Continued on our way with no issues.

Thanks for any feedback!

Well, you're ahead of the game... It's already 'ribbed for her pleasure'.

See if your tilt wheel function is smooth and equally pressured when you reengage the lever.
Looks like a rubber cap/friction sleeve off of a post up in the column somewhere.
Like that or a turn-cancel cam pin or something similar.

Thanks, BCW! I’ll take a look at those things.
