That's why I am so confused because Icon recommends 0mm offset with their lift kit when using 37x12.50r17 tires and Readylift recommends +18mm on their site, and I'm here sitting wondering what the offset should be for 37x13.50r17s on 17x9 wheels. I am assuming on a 13.50 width, it should be minimum 6mm offset but leaning towards 0mm offset , I am also noticing many wheels in 17x9 size are -12 offset and -6mm offser. I don't know, I guess I will find out when I get there, but pretty sure I will ultimately go with 13.50s as I like that look best.
Icon probably recommends 0 offset because they don’t make/offer a +18 or +12

Makes sense, so if you go with 13.50 width tires, what is the most positive offset you could go with safely (rough estimateof course). I'm thinking 0mm or +6mm maybe, assuming proper 3 inch lift kit.

I’m running 38”X13.5” tires on 17X9 +12 offset rims with no rubbing. The closest the tire gets to rubbing under compression is about.5” to the rear, bottom, outside wheel well/fender (I had to trim back the stock rock rails) It is the outside edge of the tire that gets close. My recommendation is to go with a +18 if available, if not go with +12. If I ran a 0 not only would the tire stick out another.5” further, the outside edge of the tire would be much closer to rubbing if not rubbing under compression conditions.

Oh wow man that's crazy so a 37 should be no problem at +12mm offset 17x9 wheels. Which 38x13.50 are you running and which lift kit and shocks are you using? Did you have to use the JKS kit and did you have to trim anywhere else besides the rock rails?

Milestar Patagonia XT tires, 2.5” Eibach springs stock Bilstein suspension lift, 2.5” body lift (custom) no other trimming

I am running Icon wheels with 16mm offset.
Yes I had to remove the crash bar and the plastic thing in the lower rear behind the liner and some trimming on the factory rock guard, I had a slight rub using forged aluminum A arms then switched to a BDS a arm and no rub.
from my costly trial and error, not all parts from different manufactures always just bolt and and work well with the others.
Some shocks and springs may work great with some a arms and some wont play well together.

I am thinking about going with Icon stage 7 suspension lift kit and Icon tie rods as well. The tire I plan to run is a 37x13.50r17 Toyo Open Country MT one of the biggezt 37s at 94 lbs and true measurement of 37x14.6r17.. Right now I got the Badlands Sasquatch, If I get a 17x9 wheel with a 0mm offset, jks clearance kit, and removal of the end caps on the front bumper, will these mods be enough to clear those tires in extreme offroad conditions like max articulation, compression, and lock to lock wheel turning? I was on the tire size website using their offset calculator and it indicates 0mm offset wheel will clear this tire but not sure if this is rezlly the case or if I maybe need to go with a -12mm offset and maybe even an additional 1-1.5 inch body lift. Please help lol.
