You are right not everybody have issue with the alternator in water/mud,,,,
The last place you want your alternator to fail is in the middle of trail,,,, not worth the trouble to find out,,,,



see this guy was lucky after he rinse it ,,, start to work again,,,
look on Facebook the group "Florida bronco" other people their alternator when dead.... have to be replace...

Why Ford would offer the Everglade edition only with the 2.3 that might be a clue right there?
