Hmm, maybe. I wonder if a local Ford dealership could handle removal, painting, and reinstalling?

or maybe I should plastidip with the rings still on?

I paid the dealer to install mine, but I didnt paint them. I bought the black ones from ford. To many horror stories of people stripping the bolts trying to get them out or put them back in. I figure if the bolts break its the dealers problem to replace them.
