Walk in orders

And the lot of you keep feeding into it. He can go ahead and do whatever He wants at the Dealer. As most of you point out, dealers are dumber as hell right? I should know, I work for one. I can go ahead and do the same thing for any customer that comes through my store. But I can almost guarantee that He ain't getting one before anyone with a Reservation in the Allocation/Allotment pool for their respective dealer. This thread should just be closed at this point.

Everyone who converted unless purposely waiting for a 22MY should have 11-19 code. That doesn't mean they will actually get a 21MY. Ford is still going by timestamps. For example, I made my reservation 01-14-21. I converted my order (just to see what the process was) and it has a 19 code. I still won't be getting mine until 2022 because of my late timestamp.

I’m not being a ass!! I did walk in and order! Where that puts me in line I have no idea. The dealer has no idea until Ford gets back to them with the vin and build date. I had no idea that I was the only one in here that has walked in and placed a order. I figured there was several people of did what I did. When I ordered my Gt500 a few years back was the same thing, except the dealer made a call and had a rough estimate of time frame. But there is not half the country ordering them. That’s why I figured I’d ask. Then get nothing but slammed as a cheat and liar. I’m just not the guy to order a car over the internet, I wanna talk to someone.

I don't think you are being an ass. Hell, if you're the dealer's first res and order, i hope you get yours this year lol. I was trying to explain the order process to the poster I replied to.

Please explain your stance?? I simply walked into the dealer and asked him to order it. We sat down and went through what I wanted and I wrote him a large check to show him I wasn’t screwing around and wanted it done. Then asked him Friday if he knew anything and he said no but it is 100% ordered. He didn’t promise me any dates or anything. Simply said when he knows of a build date that he would let me know. Then I found this site and decided to ask a simple question and give as much information I could of my experience and bam people are going retarded. So if they say stupid things like he is jumping the line!! How is that? My dealer had no line to jump. Some people on here are crazy. I was looking for some in site on the situation. But will say this. I hope that throwing money at it made it faster and will throw it in the face of the rude ones just for spite. No reason to be rude. If you want to order from them call. Hell use my name so I get their $100 referral cash.

My stance is that other than the fact that you preferred a sweet Wildtrak today, all the other stuff may be made up specifically to cause the type of reaction you are getting on this forum.

Nobody knows, well except maybe the people at Ford, what anything on a MY22 is... Yet. I thought Ford had said that Area51 would be Bronco specific so I would say that it should still be around for 22.

There are multiple color codes per model year. If you search through and find the "order guide" then within that you will find available color codes by model. There digit codes.

But I'm just another 'shroom.

He was addressing the fact that some think that because it wasn’t code 99 you will get a 21. When really it just means you aren’t guaranteed a 22.

Really it all boils down to whether or not Ford decides to give an allocation to all dealers regardless if they had reservations prior to September. NOTE- just because a reservation was made after September does NOT automatically mean it will be a ‘22.
