VIN/Scheduling email from Ford

I ordered a MY24 4DR BD on Aug26th, got the first email with Order# within a few minutes. I was expecting another email within 45 days, and now that we are nearing it, haven't seen one yet. I am onboard with the current UAW strikes and delays it may cause, but was hoping to see some sort of communication from Ford.. Has anyone else who ordered MY2024 been in the same boat, or has gotten a follow up email...

I placed my order and received confirmation from Ford on 8/16. I was hoping to hear something as well one day 45, but I still have not received anything from Ford since then.

Ordered my 24Heritage on Aug 17. My dealer told me a few weeks ago that Scheduling would begin on Oct 6th and production starting on Nov 18th. Was hoping to get an email on Friday, but have not gotten one yet. UAW strike could have them delayed a bit. I'll give it a few more days and then reach out to my dealer again for an update. They have been great (AllStar Automotive in Prairieville, LA).

Just like you I ordered a 2024 on August 17. Received the initial order confirmation email but nothing else. After 45 days I called Ford customer service. The consultant was able to confirm that they had my order and also indicated to me that the 45 day notification emails were suspended due to the strike.

Second - set expectations very very very low on email comms from Ford. This site is full of threads / comments on how bad their communication is.

I received "your truck is built" email when i was sitting in it lol

It's been a while since I tracked my truck but there are some threads that had some tracking visibility once you get a VIN. If those links / sites are still active that is your best bet.
I will find what I used and drop it here - maybe someone can post or confirm what is still working

Once built the second the issue will be delivery. More than 3 states away from Michigan assembly trucks are delivered via rail. Looks like you are in ATL so even though rail takes longer the strike is effecting convoy delivery so that may help you

Good news is they appear to be getting close to agreement and ending the strike. Hoping for everyone's sake that happens soon.

Talked to my dealer this morning. No update on when scheduling will start. They confirmed the delay is most likely due to the strike.

Even before the UAW strike Ford was planning on producing 2023 broncos till December. What I'm thinking the 24MY production won't start till after then. My hope is Ford completes the MY23 builds when the strike ends

No they were building 23MY through December even before the strike. This information came from Ford video guy and he's super reliable for information. I did hear thankfully if you have a schedule date and VIN for 23MY it is going to be built no matter what so that makes me feel a little more at ease.
