Get home from a day mall crawling to see that my Bronco was vandalized. Criminals made off with 2 Bronco valve stem caps.
Pay back I guess for stealing chrome caps for our bikes in the early 80’s.

The only two things I ever stole in my entire life were a Snickers bar from a convenience store and valve caps for my GT Performer and Haro bikes while in 5th grade. My mom found out about the caps and I felt bad for disappointing her, but not the candy. :devilish:

I may have stalked a parking lot or two in my day hunting for chrome caps. Had to outfit my ride didn't I?

When I was 5 I stole a fishing weight from Gibson's in Palestine Texas. My mom saw me playing with it in the car. She marched me back in the store and made me give it to the checker lady and tell her I was sorry for taking it without paying for it. Never stole anything again!

I had an awesome 10-speed bike stole from the garage when I was about 14. Thieves suck! As a result, I am always locking everything. I don't leave the driveway until I see the garage door on the ground. Did I say thieves suck?

Dang man, I had a Haro Team Master back in the day, like ’86. Loved the hell out of that freestyle bike. Was around $370 back then and I cut grass forever to make the money to get it.

The next year or two, got my Rob Roskopp Santa Cruz skateboard and back then, you couldn’t tell me nothin! Thrasher mags and Guns n Roses and Motley Crue was all that ever mattered to me. :ROFLMAO:

Thanks for bringing those memories back up, my eyes are watering. 😚

Good damn times man!

At least your truck wasn't vandalized because of some ideological reason. I've heard of people popping the tire valves, even slashing tires of "gas guzzlers." I pay attention to these things--I park on a city street.

Two caps means they only needed to replace two (they damaged?) or they got interrupted before they could get the other two. Be on the lookout... 😁

We had the same mom ,but I took a lure for trout.
Mom took me to the manager and they made a big deal about it.
It was the end of my short lived crime spree.

My childhood was better than yours because I was able to convince my parents to buy me a GT "Pro" Performer 😎

But to better fit this thread, I guess I still lost because it got stolen. 🙁

Back in the day where I was from, if you didn’t have a Kuwahara or a Redline, you weren’t worth sh_t. I had a mongoose.

They'd never get mine off because they permanently fused themselves on. Don't buy the ford horsey caps unless you use anti-seize or something. Spent 45mins with a dremel cut off wheel and still didn't get one off. 🤬

Forgot about the Kuwahara. Redline square back was cool. I had an E-racer. Short lived brand.

Or their getaway vehicle was a Schwinn StingRay or OrangeCrate
