Using OEM Kick Panel Speakers in Metra Pods

A friend said I can have his factory 6.5" kick panel speakers. Figured I'd pick up a set of Metra pods and replace the OEM 4" speakers on the roll bar. I already turned off factory EQ and set the backs to Speaker when I put in the amp and installed the subwoofer. Assuming the kick panel speakers will fit in the Metra pods. Anyone ever do this?

Depending on the system...I have the B&O and my kick panel speakers are only woofers, no tweeters, so I'm not sure that would be much of an improvement over the stock 4".

Thank you. I added a Kicker amp and factory subwoofer to the base six speaker system. I'm really happy wth the system as it, but has horrible mid range performance on some songs. I prefer an all around sound, and am I'm hoping the larger rollbar speakers will help.
