As of this evening, I have a case # with Ford. I'm not going to give all the details yet, but I am hopeful it will produce some results.
I want my Bronco too.

Odd- shouldn’t auto shut off be on by default when in park? Maybe I’m thinking of my PowerboostI knew it was going too smoothly… my friend who works at my dealership called me. When they unloaded the bronco in Paso Robles to move it around, the transporter guy left it running when he put it back on the truck. He called me and said it ran out of gas and the electronics are dead dead, they are trying to bring it back to life.
How do you forget you leave a car running??
My friend thinks there shouldnt be an issue because its so new that in the case that it did run out of power or gas, shouldnt be so bad, hes gonna call me tomorrowOdd- shouldn’t auto shut off be on by default when in park? Maybe I’m thinking of my Powerboost
Car would die from gas and electronics and issue?
ive already had enough jokes from the dealership LOL!Yay! This is such a cool pic!!

So I got off the phone with my friend who works at the dealership asking for more specific details and it kinda went something like this: he said that it was running all the way up until they unloaded it off the truck, they were able to drive it off. I think they were doing the PDI and the technician left it running in the accessory mode and never turned it off. I thought it was odd because if I remember right, the bronco has a built in feature where if it’s been running for 30 minutes, it shuts off. Not sure if that was bypassed or because it wasn’t turned on all the way but left it in accessory mode that it didn’t trigger it? No idea. Anyhow, he or they saw it dropped to 3 V on the battery and then it died died so I’m pretty sure it’s just the battery… they are charging it up overnight to see and I’m not expecting a call tomorrow. The manager of the entire dealership was pretty pissed about it knowing how anxious I was and chewed out a couple of peopleDid you write Karen? Add this to your list for concessions!!
3V is way low, interesting though… most likely just the battery. So I got off the phone with my friend who works at the dealership asking for more specific details and it kinda went something like this: he said that it was running all the way up until they unloaded it off the truck, they were able to drive it off. That’s what I’m hoping. He said the technician left it running on in the back lot and forgot about it. I’m guessing no one knew because the engine wasn’t running just the battery. But knowing that it drove off the truck is a good sign that it wasn’t f’ed before it showed up… when will this nightmare end3V is way low, interesting though… most likely just the battery.![]()
Looking back, you will have a hell of a story associated with your Bronco- You simply cannot make this sh!t up!!That’s what I’m hoping. Still in Cottage Grove, crazy thing is no one knows or can tell when a transport truck will be available. In today's day and age of planning logistics and maximizing $ this is truly nuts that no one seemingly has a plan.Mine sat in Cottege Grove 5 days before getting a truck to deliver 5 miles to the dealer. Hopefully you can get out of the lot quicker!
