Yeah hoss is the only thing I would be worried about. I would rather have no sub then the ones ford will put into these. I got about 1.5 years out of my Focus titanium sub before it sounded like it was siting in a tub of water.
Yeah take no stock in these comments. If there were rail car shortages this would be a more wide spread issue not just 5-10% of every build week. This is a stock management issue and Ford is just passing blame to the next party.My dealer sent me this update today (9/16 blend date; status changes to 'built' on 9/29). Notice the comment that says "Railcar Shortage"......
Just pinged my dealer as I haven't checked in for 10 days or so. He got a VINView message this morning that he is following up on. It indicated that my vehicle may have been damaged. More details to come hopefully.......
In 75 days, they could have built you a new car if they damaged it......
I'm so sorry to read this @choppersean! I'm hoping that it's not true and maybe someone just hit the wrong button when finally updating you to "In Transit." It would be a terrible turn of events to wait 75 DAYS only to find out that you have to start the process all over again. Please keep us posted! My fingers are crossed!
Dealer told me their GM followed up with Ford about this.......confirmed damage, but they didn't confirm what kind of damage. He just said "Normally it would probably be just a bumper or a fender which they would just replace." If either one of those were true, I still don't know why it takes this long unless it DID sit for weeks and only damaged it once they were getting it to/on transport. I'll never know details. I just want my Bronco FFS!!
Yeah I am dealing with a similar situation. I guessed that 60 days would have been a solid amount of lead time. Joke is on me I guess.
Most of the ones I was looking forward to in Idaho close this weekend. Hope the 23my broncos don't get to enjoy them before my 22my........
