I think it’s more these drivers get to pick and choose their deliveries , so they are going to pick the routes that have the most deliveries or the farthest route, so small rural dealers like mine get shafted
That makes sense for the Convoy deliveries, but not for us waiting to get loaded on a train...

I think you are truly an anomaly being convoy. Imagining the majorty stuck are rail.

I'd hope your dealer may actually have some leverage if they could figure out how to actually apply it.

Today starts my next window (3rd now) of 11/2-11/8. I'm honestly not too optimistic but hope I get proved wrong.

Since the order track site broke I have exceeded the longest wait presented on there now.

The wifely one chatted with the salesperson at our dealership-they've become best buddies since she got her Bronco Sport-her theory is that the smaller dealership deliveries are waiting for a truckload of vehicles before Ford schedules the delivery. Our little dealer here in NoMi just got a load of F-150's yesterday that they've been waiting for forever or so.
It's "only" been a week, but some 10/24 week folks have their Broncos already it appears. We're 4 hours from MAP right off the superslab. Come on Ford, you can do it!

Fully built and released 8/31... Still awaiting shipment, and the fake ETA just got pushed out yet again.

Not building the Bronco in reservation order was Ford's fault. Not having enough person-power to get them shipped is the economy's fault.

But NOT providing dealers with alternative means of transportation, and not making sure that they are following FIFO IS Ford's fault.

Do we have any possible recourse? Has anyone been successful getting there purgatory Bronco actually shipped?

I've been waiting for over 2 years....so waiting longer, although it sucks, that's not the problem.

The problem is, that Ford has made significant improvements for 2023, and now I'm going to be taking possession of a 2022 instead and I have no choice but to suck it up or walk completely.

No recourse but I would not just walk. Worst case I would show up if/when it comes in and get the dealer to make you an offer for you not to buy it. Then when the 2023 order banks open up order one and pay whatever price they may be at that point.

At least now we know what we are going to be paying. God only knows how long you have to wait for a 2023 and if all of those "upgrades" even stick long term. I can nearly guarantee a lot of the new bells and whistles will get chopped due to "market limitations"

Not many. We can't even notify someone that there is a problem. If we had any recourse we would not be getting screwed like we are. Hell my dealer can't even get answers from FMC.

Starting over and waiting another year or so is about your only option. You will loose price protection which would pay for most of the 2023 upgrades.

If you stick it out and take delivery you could still flip it for some cash before you start over.

Yeah that's one of the things that I keep trying to remind myself of. Take position of the Bronco, see if it's a lemon or not. And if need be, sell the Bronco the cover the lost money on this fiasco and at least hopefully break even.

So I wonder if I would completely lose price protection? I thought I read somewhere that the price protection applies to you taking possession of a Bronco, not necessarily possession of your reserved Bronco.

If I could take all my price protect with me, I think I might go on the hunt for a dealer with MSRP That can actually get things delivered.

Yeah, in my case it would be HOSS and of course the sub they added for all. Haven't really paid attention to the changes they made for 2023 since my Bronco had at least had a VIN If not already billed by the time the 2023 information came out.
