One thing I’ve learned since I joined this forum- it is full of fanboys that worship Ford no matter what the company or its dealers do. Farley could shit on their front porch and some on here would say “I’m not buying your Bronco now! I’m just going to get the F150 or Ranger. Take that Ford!”
I’m not a brand loyalist- it’s a f’ing car/truck. I love nice vehicles and have owned some nice ones. But I won’t lose sleep over any of them.

Absolutely! Screw me on a Bronco and no way in hell I’m buying any Ford product!

And I’m not saying I don’t get it in some cases- family worked/works there, family memories, etc, etc. But it does strike me as odd with the outrage in some of the posts after Ford screws up again, only to end with “but I can wait longer” or “I’m still getting a bronco”, etc.

I quickly agreed to MSRP. If my 2021 Badlands 2 door actually gets built I will have made the right choice. I never thought for a millisecond that any dealer offering huge discounts would be able to fulfill those orders. If it sounds to good to be true it probably is. I’m fortunate in may ways this year except for the model configuration I chose. I’m still sitting at 11/15. This is the longest my one of 11 build date projections has stayed without being extended. Hoping for a reason to give thanks on Thanksgiving day. Planning on ordering a CO Bronco Sport for the wife soon, with the hopes of getting it late next year.
Thanks for sharing your perspective. You and I share some similar circumstances, but definitely approached things differently.

FWIW, I agreed to pricing at $1,300 under invoice with Granger after considering my options, watching Granger help build the Bronco6G community here, and seeing how they treated their own customers and others not even buying from them. (My X-Plan PIN, while not being honored by Ford on 21MY Broncos, is being honored by Granger in the agreed pricing.)

It was way more important to me to get a great price from an honest dealership which had so heavily invested sweat equity into building this community, treated customers with respect, took telephone calls, and responded to emails, than to try to obtain the fastest possible delivery with another dealership. If my Badlands 4-door actually gets built this year, I will have made the right choice for me.

I, too, am fortunate in many ways. I am currently scheduled (knock on wood) to be built in the 11/1/21 build week (7/20/20 reservation). I am also saving $3,533.20 under MSRP…. likely enough to purchase a hard top later, if I want dual tops and choose that option. Like you, I am also hoping for a reason to celebrate at Thanksgiving. Sometimes, when it sounds too good to be true, it’s still actually true.

Finally, although I strongly disagree with these latest allocation changes being implemented by Ford, I am still planning to buy more vehicles from Granger, because Zach (@Zach@Granger), Jay (@Granger Ford), and Hunter (@Hunter@Granger) have earned my respect and my business.

So congratulations to you! Hopefully, despite our different approaches, we’ll both be enjoying our Broncos soon. 🎉🍾🎈

There would be no service without the sales
I'm not in the business, so i would love to know. Do automotive service businesses not make any money then? Since they aren't tied to new car sales?

I guess the other question is who is servicing Teslas if they have no franchised sale dealers? I really don't know.

I kinda went with my gut to stick with my local dealer at MSRP instead of chasing a couple grand in discounts. Glad I did.

That said, it really sucks that dealers like Granger really aren’t being proportionally rewarded for their innovative and labor-intensive marketing/customer service efforts with Bronco.

But you could argue that buying direct from ford would cost less to begin with, similar to what the vehicles cost the dealers to purchase. It would cut out the middle man (dealer) - each party has to make money
I understand what you're saying, but, I still believe if we're all paying (dealer) invoice, Ford would see no need to offer incentives. Plus there's the whole dealer service department thing. I hate shady dealers as much as anyone, but there are a lot of jobs at stake too. And personally I like to shop around and look/ test drive. Would rough to pay $55k for something without even driving it.

So I guess Ford just wants us to place orders at every dealership near us and see which one fulfills first. That’ll solve the problem!

If I don't get a 2022 Bronco with a 3am 7/14 reservation I'm out and done with Ford forever. These clowns have completely botched this entire release at every turn. How hard is it to go down the damn reservation list and build the vehicle if you have the parts?

TOTAL MORONS.
I'm about an hour behind you and I've about decided if I don't get one by March Im most likely out. Life is too short to worried about this shit for 2 years.

It’s honestly great seeing these tone deaf replies from Levine get ratioed. They are so focused on pushing that Bronco Sport garbage that they are willing to screw over hundreds of even thousands of customers who have been waiting for nearly 2 years.

Sooo I guess I’m going to have to get an extended warranty on my 2018 Explorer before my 3 years/36k miles hit esp. if I’m looking at another year or more before I see my Bronco…I’m not even close to 36k miles (thank you, Covid!) I thought about if I want to give up the ghost on this and I really don’t - unless Toyota does something off the charts with the 2023 4 Runner redesign. I’m just gonna wait.
