Ford Bronco Twelve Sixers - The Lost Batch 1642182314437

I love to know how things are going with all my bronco families on this forum and find great strength from reading all the posts and following all the builds.

So if you are like me then you may be interested to know that there is a build week, 12/6, that has mostly been forgotten. We call ourselves Twelve Sixers - The Lost Batch. Just as the old Bronco Dirt Mountain of last summer when broncos piled up in Michigan it has happen again. Although it may be a smaller pile and in snow fields instead of dirt. Ford now pushes to get the new 2022 to the field and it appears it was at the expense of those in the last full build week before 2022 production started. The last of the 2021’s were most likely missing a part so when the new parts came in it was important to keep the line running and supply the parts to the new model year. Most people don’t realize as they see all the new eruption green bronco pics hitting the street that the last week of 2021 has mostly been forgotten. The issue is with Broncos that had a blend date between 12/3 and 12/14.

At the time of this posting over a month after being built only 41% of that week have just finally shipped and only 6% have actually been delivered. Most of these number are in the last 10 days. Even more devastating only 12% of OBX and 20% of WT from our week have shipped. Let that sink in.

It is also frustrating is that at this point there are still 35% of the broncos from 12/6 week that haven’t got any emails since their vehicle was just scheduled for a build week. For me this was back on November 6th. So even though my vehicle was blended on December 8 with mods popping and everything I haven’t had an email for over 2 months. I don’t know when I will get my vehicle even shipped.

Don’t get me wrong I know dirt mount had some long lingering vehicles and I can’t imagine waiting that long but I can tell everyone how the communication from Ford is very spotty at best. I think they make a fantastic product and I can’t wait to get through all these logistical issues to finally drive my bronco.

But the 12/13 build week was technically the "last batch" of 21's. And many of those builds are still missing in action as well. It's a mess for sure ....hoping for a quick resolution for all these lost Broncos .

Thanks for speaking up for us @2w1se.. my OBX has been in production since 11/29/21, blend date 12/6/21, and the EDD has been charged for times now. Currently have an EDD of 1/25/22. It sure would be nice to know what's going on with this batch of broncos.

Well said. Right here with you. Hoping @Ford Motor Company hears this and can help. Very disheartening to feel like the forgotten group.

My fellow Twelve Sixers - the lost batch. Let’s not give up now. And hey Ford let’s wrap up these MY21s!

The excitement of getting the ā€œyou’re going to productionā€ email way back on September 30th Then the anticipation of getting your window sticker, for me on 12/1 with a blend date of 12/9, mods popped 12/10 and then crickets…Finally I’m one of the lucky ones and received a built email on 12/22. Having watched many from previous build weeks I thought the wait is coming to an end. But nope radio silence again. As I watch 22s being born and delivered. (Congrats to them but it stings a little) My Bronco finally shows as shipped as of 1/7. No born pic, no delay email, EDD 1/31/22.

I emailed the ford executive team again:

Hello Ford Executive Team,

I am once again following up to try to make sense of this process. Someone on your team did reach out to me previously, and even though she was very nice...she was unable to provide me any solution to my issue.

I have now noticed that my bronco has been built and released, waiting for shipping since 12/26/2021. (or it might be 12/27? hard to tell since the tracker is currently down and often crashes).

I understand that we are in a pandemic (for the third calendar year), there is a supply chain shortage, and now that the BNSF are threating a strike. But what I do not understand is why there are Broncos built after mine shipping before me here to Southern California. Furthermore, I am confused as to how MY22’s are leaving the factory before completed MY21s.

I've spoken with the "helpline" numerous times, and the most recent interaction left me feeling less than hopeful as the gentleman's first question was "do you have a hard top or a soft top?" It doesn't take much to realize that issue shouldn't matter if my vehicle is already released for shipping.

I am here to make a plea for help - can someone with some real knowledge of why my truck hasn't shipped and when it will please call me? I really am just trying to move forward with my life and waiting on a vehicle with really no clue of when I might receive it is very difficult. I understand there is an EDD but it's moved from 1/3-1/19 to 1/13-1/19, then 1/31-2/6 and now 2/3-2/8. So, that's obviously not to be trusted whatsoever.

VIN: 1FMEE5DP1MLB09109

Order Code: B504

Case Number: CAS-34664637-C8Z8Z4

Sincerely,

A dejected Ford customer.

In 2021 a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire the Twelve Sixers.

If it’s any consolation my 11/04 in production 12/22 ā€œbuilt dateā€ magically showed up with no notice on 12/30. There is hope.
