I love to know how things are going with all my bronco families on this forum and find great strength from reading all the posts and following all the builds.
So if you are like me then you may be interested to know that there is a build week, 12/6, that has mostly been forgotten. We call ourselves Twelve Sixers - The Lost Batch. Just as the old Bronco Dirt Mountain of last summer when broncos piled up in Michigan it has happen again. Although it may be a smaller pile and in snow fields instead of dirt. Ford now pushes to get the new 2022 to the field and it appears it was at the expense of those in the last full build week before 2022 production started. The last of the 2021ās were most likely missing a part so when the new parts came in it was important to keep the line running and supply the parts to the new model year. Most people donāt realize as they see all the new eruption green bronco pics hitting the street that the last week of 2021 has mostly been forgotten. The issue is with Broncos that had a blend date between 12/3 and 12/14.
At the time of this posting over a month after being built only 41% of that week have just finally shipped and only 6% have actually been delivered. Most of these number are in the last 10 days. Even more devastating only 12% of OBX and 20% of WT from our week have shipped. Let that sink in.
It is also frustrating is that at this point there are still 35% of the broncos from 12/6 week that havenāt got any emails since their vehicle was just scheduled for a build week. For me this was back on November 6th. So even though my vehicle was blended on December 8 with mods popping and everything I havenāt had an email for over 2 months. I donāt know when I will get my vehicle even shipped.
Donāt get me wrong I know dirt mount had some long lingering vehicles and I canāt imagine waiting that long but I can tell everyone how the communication from Ford is very spotty at best. I think they make a fantastic product and I canāt wait to get through all these logistical issues to finally drive my bronco.
