“Next Batch”?

I contacted my dealer today, and he said he was sorry but I wasn't selected yet but that I might be in the "next batch". WTH does that mean? Is the "next batch" updated every week or will it be for builds after June? Someone please enlighten me. Thanks!

Dealer was really checking your life-clock, start running because "next batch" means this.

Thanks. I had seen that, but I'm still confused. I really don't think my dealer really knows. I wish he'd just say, "your probably not scheduled until later in the summer". At least that would not get my hopes up. Saying I might be in the next batch just makes me anticipate it more. I guess we're all in the same boat. I just want more clarity.

Do dealers know yet who is in next weeks reveal or do they find out when we do? I'm happy people are getting builds, but I wish they could have sent an email to everyone explaining the process. I guess they promised that by May. We'll see I guess.

common denominators - what your configuration may have in "common" with the next "batch" released from planning to production. May be as common as color or as complex as engine and tranny...lead time for components that allows the unit to built without any shortage(s)...the assy line never stops moving...build and ship the product = $
