If new trucks didnt look like a goofy gaping whale. I might not be so hooked on a Bronco. I prefer a straight bumper and a grill that fits between the headlights. If cooling is an issue because they over cramped the engine bays, give em hood scoops or vents.

But for real these new breeds look like trains and have to have 360 degree cameras because they have the same visibility. Im a fan of not running over things that are shorter than 5 ft tall.

I agree with you, but it’s a class wide trend, that super duty is no less exaggerated than a Yota.

As a former Toyota employee, I can assure you they don't care if people think it's ugly. They have a loyal customer base who will buy anything with the Toyota name, no matter the style, performance, durability, colour. Running joke when I was there that Toyota could save money by only painting their vehicles a dull beige, and still wouldn't lose a sale. This is the company that blamed a sticky gas pedal ,that lead to multiple deaths, on the floor mat, and people believed it

I don't think anyone can top BMW at the moment. I was really hoping the new 4 series and M3/M4 snout looked better in person than in photos. They don't.

Better get used to it, the things they can do with LED's now, that trend is only going to increase.

Gawd, at 50 , I know that feeling also. LOL
I like to think that I embrace or at least accept "change" , but that "gaping mouth grill" design has never appealed to me and it seems to only be getting worse.
That 'yota pic in post one is the current king though....jeezus.
