Turn on factory Sub wiring?

Hello all,
I’ve searched for this answer and can’t seem t find a clear answer. I’m planning on installing a sub and amp on my 2023 bronco. I’m using the factory box that came with the truck. Do I have to use for scan to turn on the audio signal to the factory amp wiring?
