Any specific reason they had to dyno it in 4th gear? And are they using a pure inertia dyno where they can't control the RPM/s ramp rate?

You can get away with a LOT during a 2 second pull that would put you in serious danger in, say, 7th or 8th gear or while continuing to spin tires under load in the mud or sand.
I’m not 100% sure on that.

I do know Wally is excellent at what he does. That was one of the main reasons I went. I just let Wally work while we watched and took direction.

I will ask next time I talk to them for you and get the answers.

You have to go to the shop for the tune. Tunes like this are done specific to your vehicle and the parts on it.

You live in MA so it’s not that far of a drive 😁

They’re 13hrs from me so it’s gonna be a long weekend trip for me. I’m thinking I’ll head up there this summer.

I have all of the upgrades you have on a 2.3. What I was most interested in seeing was how much of an improvement you had from starting out with the JB4 you were running to their final tune. Did you happen to dyno your initial calibrated rig that you drove in with? I'm trying to get a feel for how much I might benefit with the smaller engine.
