The more I think about it I might just stay with my dealer just realized I would lose the 400 I put down I got msrp not the best but def not the worst my chances of getting a 21 are good and I don’t want to risk it
why would you lose $400? they have no right to keep it...nothing has happened

this may also work...has anyone tried and confirmed it works?
My dealership converted my reservation to an order without my consent and I called the 1-800# and they told me to call the dealership and have them turn my order back into a reservation.

I called in this morning to start this transfer process. Bronco Rep said they would escalate my case to a supervisor and took all my info. I just received a call from Ford Bronco team a few hours later confirming my request and took my info again, they said someone would call back when its done.

So yah I think they have to do this all manually and don't have a defined way to do this yet. We all raised hell last week and they were quick to recognize this is a problem but they didn't have a way to fix this situation easily yet. I asked if this is the correct process to follow, call the 800 number etc and he said yes. They also asked a few times now if I had a contract in place with the dealer, so I think they want to make sure people aren't just skipping out after getting into a contract with a dealer.

Perhaps asking for a new reservation is a way to get the new dealer the $100 deposit.

*UPDATE*

They are having the reps email [email protected]
Provide customer name
Provide the original reservation # & timestamp
Provide the new reservation #
Bronco@ will convert the timestamp from the old res to the new res
Bronco@ will then remove the original converted res from the dealers WBDO

I would still try the 800#'s

I wonder if this would work for a FE!

Before canceling anything, I’d call the Ford Customer Relations Center (1 (800) 334-4375) to try to fix that mess. Ask to speak to a supervisor or manager if necessary.

Thanks for digging into this and passing along what you hear for everyone's benefit.

I'd be amazed if this process goes through without more hiccups and headaches.

You're attempting to change a timestamp on a new reservation?
This. This is why.
Yes, I see that its the same person that's having difficulty with their original reservation but it's this kind of monkeying around that gives people pause.

I'm in the same boat as a handful of others. Log into ford site, look up reservation, see "order date xx". No heads up, just the dealer converting my reservation to an order without talking to me. Called 4375 number, asked to be transferred to the bronco team, the rep I got was beyond helpful. I don't have a new dealer in mind but she said to say this when I call back to convert my order to another dealer.

"I would like to request a manual dealership change based on conversation from reservation to order without consultation". You need personal info to confirm you are you, who you have been dealing with at the dealership your current reservation (now order) sits, and the new dealer you want to move it to.

She said we have until March 19th to make this request.

GL everyone
