@Discount Tire Can you tell me the tread width of this tire? The section width is posted as 10.6” but I cannot find the actual tread width dimension.

I could be wrong but I can't say I've seen manufacturers list actual tread width.

You are probably correct, though I do see it in the specs published by the big online tire retailers. For this tire it is strangely omitted. No big deal, it’s just my OCD emerging.

Thank you for allowing us to assist in verifying the tread width of this tire. After a conversation with Toyo Product Specialists, this is what they said. The size 10.50 suggest the unmounted tire laying on its side. The tread or foot print can vary with weight, width of wheel and air pressure. They would not give me an exact measurement beyond that. However, I just had one of our Trusted Experts at a store, throw a measuring tape on the tread and the number reads 9 inches.

Thank you very much for the quick response and for the efforts to get an accurate answer. Thanks to the Trusted Expert as well!
The Grabber AT/X’s that came on my Black Diamond seem good in EVERY respect. I’m looking for a tire 1”-2” taller with the same width as the AT/X. The Toyo and BFG K02 in this size would seem to work. I’m leaning towards the Toyo due to price and overall reviews.

20k miles on my Toyo AT3's and they've checked every box for me. Thinking of going 285/70 with a small lift for my next set on the OBX.
