Touch up spray painting Modular Bumper?

So I bought a take off mod bumper and it has a few more scratches than I'd like. I don't want to re- powder coat if i don't have to.
I've seen multiple posts about which touch up spray to use, but nothing about HOW to do it.
Really want to install my mod bumper.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I grabbed a can of Textured Rustoleum Black…I’ll let you know how it looks. It seems like the paint Ford uses is two layers. There is a thick grey primer layer under the black - but, once you get to bare metal it will rust.

Night trail ride and I misjudged a rock. I’d like to keep my caps on because I have fogs.

Is there a matte finish for Line X?
I hate how it looks like glitter. Lol

Yeah great question for Line X. It’s not so much a glitter finish as a finish that just looks wet.…but to each his own.

I had a couple little scratches on the bumper after I pulled it off doing my flat tow mods. I bought Krylon Rust Tough Protective Flat Enamel to touch up the places I had to cut/drill in the bumper mounting points. Says it can go direct-to-metal. I just used this for the minor scratches on the bumper corners. To apply, I sprayed onto a piece of shiny paper, and used a q-tip as a brush...

Just an after picture. By no means perfect, but I figure it's black on black. Likely would of been better with a semi-gloss instead of flat black.
