Topless security.

Perhaps a stupid comment however, when I owned my Jeep about 20 years ago, I kept the top off for 6 months and used the classic "club" to lock off the steering wheel as a sure-fire anti-theft device. Does the electronic ignition in the G6 Bronco act an an adequate anti-theft device or is a "clubs" still being used or recommended by topless Bronco owners...???

Think a lot of us bought and installed the ford perimeter alarm module. That gives a adjustable shock sensor and false key disable.

I know from mine opening a door will generate a honk, kick to the tire generates a honk, any shaking of the vehicle generates a honk. You can get in softly with out triggering it. But anything opened and closed will register.

Some others used a perimeter/motion sensing bicycle alarm that just sets inside. Seemed like those work well also.

I plan to use this as well... sometime in 2157 when my August 2020 reservation Bronco actually is moved to production and then delivered to me...

Club never really provided much security. It's childsplay to just cut through the steering wheel.

Hidden kill switch was always the way to go in my opinion.
