What would you like them to say?
I'd like to know how long Ford will hold built Broncos on QC holds before it becomes a higher priority to complete them and ship them out.
I want an actual number, not politically correct neutrality.

Using your own argument of limited supplies, if a supplier can barely meet demand of the production line, the spare parts to complete these held Broncos could be a very, very long time in coming.

How long is too long for Ford?
60- 90- 120 days?
2023???


Seriously, a baseBase is not a highly optioned build,, yet some of these simple builds have been held since June already.

... and considering the supply chain issues, this is a question Ford should be asking themselves.

For the second half of 2021, Ford expects to earn about $3 to $4 billion. That means for the full year, Ford now expects about $9 to $10 billion in operating profits. This beats the $2.8 billion earned in 2020.

The Bronco rollout is characterized as a marketing fiasco by Ford loyalists and Bronco enthusiasts (rightly so). However, top management, who is beholden to the stockholders and not the customers, only sees the bottom line, i.e. great press and great profits.

Top management of multinational corporations are disconnected from consumers. Look no further than the woke stances and commercials by big corporations. It is a mistake to think that Ford is overly concerned with customer frustration with the Bronco. The 2021 customers pushed to 2022 or 2023 will just help FY profits/sales for those subsequent years. Ford will do what is best and cost effective for Ford, not the consumer.
A lot of these enthusiasts and loyalist are those shareholders….and this Bad Batch-@SpringTXOR @Rlack75 @CrazyDymond88 @MacDonald_Photo @Carolina Jim @EA First Edition @Clubdub @myrealname123 and myself and countless more is not good media. Broncos sitting for 30+ with no info as new ones roll out. And we (Bad Batch) that is sticking with this is a small number compared to the ones whom have turned their backs and will now never look to Ford again. That is not good media, not to mention we will continue to ensure all possible media outlets are aware (Motortrend, Car and Driver, etc.) oh and Ford execs….only to here the crap response of……

Soon. So bottom line is Ford could have an even greater profit if they deliver these vehicles, Ford would have better media if they communicated or delivered these vehicles. This surface hood initial media will only go so far, before the bad heavily out weighs it.

I cannot even imagine how frustrated I would be in your shoes, I am in the "no batch" barrel. But I think your position is worse. I feel for you.

If I was told straight up, your getting a 22 or we have an issue. Cool. But to hear, yup it’s built and is at one of our facilities…

If i am reading some stats correctly, There are close to 4 Billion shares of Ford.
I just don't think the loyalists and bad batchers make up a significant portion of those shares.

The Webasto debacle blame falls solely with Ford. That was the result of piss poor vendor management. As far as the other alleged constraints, I have no idea about that. I will say this as a CX professional of 2 decades, the #1 rule for any lengthy process, especially if it is having 'hiccups', is regular, proactive communication to keep the customer informed. This has been. Ford's biggest failure in my opinion. My world isn't ending because of the delay, but they have left a bad taste in my mouth because of lack of communication. We've gotten most of our info from insiders here on the site.

I have stated on this thread and other threads that Ford will not do much by way of accommodation for missed or late delivery. I have soften somewhat on this opinion as it relates to FE order holders (I am not one). If there is ever a group that deserves to be pissed it is these people. They forked out big bucks for a first edition and it is terrible these folks are still waiting with little to no communication. FE people deserve better.

You are right about that with the number, regardless from people that invest it adds up quickly seeing how there are lots and lots of Broncos sitting there, lots and lots of F150s. Those share holders start to add up. And then you have media and when you start involving word of mouth as me personally probably have 25 to 30 people outside the ford community that ask about the bronco constantly and now I have nothing good to give them. And those conversations lead on and on to others.
