Friends, it has been some journey.

Anticipating the announcement. Watching it online. From the very computer, the very office in which I now sit and type.

To following news threads on Bronco6G, if not daily, bi-or-tri weekly. Wheeling and upgrading my Jeep in the meantime, imagining both the pros and cons of what the Bronco will bring which the Jeep has not.

Watching youtube videos. Ordering Bronco gear. Putting a BRONCO license plate up in my garage. Wearing a Bronco t-shirt while wheeling my topless TJ to the delighted laughs of many.

Learning everything there is to know about this vehicle, the ordering process, even the codes. Have showed my salesperson a few things along the way. He has even asked me questions about the vehicle on behalf of another customer.

And now, tomorrow: the delivery. Everything has been set. The Bronco is being prepped as we speak. The credit app completed and swiftly approved, as was expected.

And for a day or two, at least: I will be a Bronco owner. 4-door, Badlands, Lux, 2.7L, every option available including towing. The only concession: a soft top, to steer clear of the Webasto disaster and further delays.

The grand decision looms: flip the Bronco or no? Either way, I will remain a member of the Bronco family. Had the Bronco Raptor not been announced prior to this first year, sixth gen Bronco being delivered tomorrow morning, I doubt I'd even be considering it. But with a solid MSRP+$15k offer in the wings and waiting, it would be hard to pass up... and simply remain a "floating" member of the Bronco family as I wait for the Bronco Raptor to appear.

Decisions, decisions.

Either way, tomorrow I will drive my Bronco.

I wish all of you a fine evening with similar levels of intense introspection.

I’m torn - congratulations…you have my exact build except for the soft top. Congrats on taking advantage of the free market economy. But why oh why would you allow money to sway you? Did you not attend an off Roadeo and understand how amazing these vehicles are? I LOVE the idea of the Raptor - I have an expedition with 425hp right now - but the 2.7 in the bronco was plenty.

Drive it until you can get the raptor.

Not yet because I've been hardcore wheeling my Jeep this summer when able. It does look like a fun experience, and I just have to pick a time I can do it.

Lol, such an impassioned post , then you say you may flip it after all this time! LOL

Like you , I've been on this page way too much, possibly to the detriment of my marriage. Ever since the IMMACULATE leak from the UAW guy during the Ranger announcement, then joining here in Mar 2016 ....and waiting.
And now that the 5+ year wait is almost over....
My number is +$20K.... or more ...lol!
I have a second Res waiting to order ... we shall see what 2022 brings.
ENJOY!!!
