I currently have a reservation with Tommie Vaughn Ford in Houston and unhappy with the lack of response and communication during this process. Does anyone else have a reservation with them and having the same experience? Also, are there any recommendations for a Houston Ford dealership that is worthwhile? I am ready to switch!

In NC, but I haven't heard from Crossroads Ford in Apex, othere than "come on in and buy what's on the lot, SALE SALE SALE!!" since the day I placed my reservation.

Also in Houston. I originally reserved with Chastang and had radio silence after they asked to confirm my reservation. I talked to Planet Ford on 59 and didn’t get a warm feeling about them either. So I switched to Granger.

Have you called Tommy Vaughn and asked them what they are going to do from a pricing perspective? It takes two to tango. Who knows they might surprise you if you engage them. Probably not, but its worth a shot.

YES! I left Tommie Vaughn for Tomball Ford. Call Jorge Lopez at 832-372-6348. He is awesome to deal with!

I only want to interact with Dealer 2 more times; 1. When I order. 2. When I pick up my BL. So the Houston dealer sound great to me. They are off to a good start.

I’ve had a positive experience with TV so far. Cannot say as much about Mak Haik.

I understand how people can mention that there isn’t much for a dealer to say. I agree and disagree. I changed my dealer after making numerous phone calls and emails to speak with the sales manager/bronco specialist to ask about the x-plan (early on when it was still eligible) and what bronco sports they were ordering so I can see colors in person. They never wanted to speak with me and I kept receiving texts from random incompetent sales guys with the steps on how to reserve. When I finally spoke with anyone, this sales guy acted like he never even heard of the full size 4-door. Then after talking for a bit he told me the 2-door and 4-door weren’t available in cyber orange. At that point I changed dealers. The dealer I have now is wonderful. This isn’t just a sales guy, he loves what he does and loves Ford. I’m anal and picky, but I’m a “car guy”. I love vehicles and about to spend $57k on an suv, come on. I want to talk with educated people that know what they’re doing and can walk the walk and talk the talk. The new dealer can.

I had a reservation with TV, but as others have mentioned they weren’t really responsive.

I would have switched to Tomball Ford, but ended up going with the Texas Buyers Group Dealer.
