Tire Recommendations for Bronco Sasquatch

No doubt, and I don't really get it. It is thinner than a typical 35 and it is C rated and not the normal E....you would think it would be ligher-ish and yet it is not.

I would love to tries these, but I think one would have to also buy new ligher wheels to off-set. Unfortunately having the weight on the outter part is worse than having the weight closer to the center (aka heavy wheel + light tire > light wheel + heavy tire)

And the 285/75r17 is 6lbs lighter and only 3/4 in shorter diameter but slightly wider

I know everyone has a different opinion on the best offroad tires, but I’m having a hard time figuring out what tires I should get to replace the Sasquatch Goodyear Territory MTs. The main characteristics I’m looking for in a tire are below (in order of importance).

1) Minimal rock throwing (at least less than the Goodyear Territories)
2) Decently quiet
3) Good tread life
4) Good snow traction
5) Good offroad traction
6) Some other thing I’m probably forgetting

Some of the tires I’ve been looking at so far are below (in no particular order). I know that the list is all over the place with ATs and MTs.

1) Nitto Ridge Grappler
2) Nitto Trail Grappler
3) BFGoodrich KO2
4) Toyo Open Country AT3
5) Toyo Open Country MT3
6) Mickey Thompson Baja Boss
7) Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac (I have these on my 4Runner now and they’re a nice tire, but kind of noisy now that they’re older).

Obviously every tire is going to have its pros/cons, I’m just trying to find something that will check most of the boxes. I’m no tire expert and don’t have a lot of experience with different tires, so any advice is welcome and appreciated.

If anyone has another recommendations or any experience with any of the tires I mentioned, your opinion would be of great value to me and other people as well. I’m sure I’m not the only one considering swapping these tires out.

Bridgestone Dueler A/T's LT 315's. Thats what I have on my 2015 JKU. Quiet on the highway. Have had no problems on trails. I will be doing same thing on my BL/Sas when it comes in.

I went with the 35in Toyo Open Country MT's. I like everything about them except my MPG is staying steady at 15.2. They are heavier than the OEMs. But absolutely no rock throwing, and I was able to use my ford pass points to cover most of the price since I bought them through the quick lane at Ford, who also gets better prices.

Yeah, whether it be on my Bronco if I get it, or the next round of tires for my Wrangler, right now if I had to make a choice it would be with the open country at3 because of diam and being one of the lightest and C rated still.

I went with the 35in Toyo Open Country MT's.

Tough tires for sure. Heavy E. Even airing down there was not much collapse of the side wall.
The only problem I experienced with these tires is terrible chunking.

Has anyone put the BF goodrich K02 C loaded tires on the sasquatch? I got them from tirerack and will be mounting and balancing them tmw morning. These are the Ford performance tires that they put on the Raptors.

Split the difference between the Toyo A/Ts and the M/Ts. Check out the Toyo open country R/Ts. They check your boxes probably better than anything else on your list. They’re quieter than they look.

I think you’d be happy with the ridge grapplers too.
