I like straps that ratchet as they seem to hold better. I plan to buy 6’ ones or cut them shorter when I get a basket and keep them only for that purpose. Currently getting ready to head out for a week with 4 people and learning we need a basket bad. Which is odd because the cargo area doesn’t seem much smaller than our 2020 blazer. We normally rent a cabin as well and this trip we have tent and beds in their and coolers in which we don’t normally have if staying in a cabin.
