I just recently joined as a forum member but have been reading threads for a long time. Took delivery of my 2.7L badlands a few weeks ago and haven’t had the chance to put many miles on it yet. I’ve noticed that there’s kind of a tick noise from the rear between 35-45mph and it dies out either before lower than 35 or over 45. Noticeable with the windows down forsure so I know it’s something on the exterior rather than an interior rattle. Can’t place the noise particularly well to tell what exactly it’s coming from. I haven’t seen this in any other threads yet so seeing if someone else out there is experiencing a similar issue. Maybe it’s something that will go away after I put miles on it / finish the “break in period”. I may take a video and post at some point as well

Did you ever find what was causing the ticking sound? I have a 2023 2.7L Badlands also and it does the same exact thing. I have an appointment with dealer mid July

Hello, yes I ended up taking it to the dealer and they realigned the backing plate, that made the noise go away. Misalignment must have been causing there to be something tapping together. They had a FSE (Field service engineer) from Ford diagnose it. Not sure if your problem is similar but asking the dealer to take a look or an FSE would be a good start. It was covered under warranty as well.

Hey there. I can look into your Bronco’s noise concerns on my end if you’d like. Will you send us a private message with your VIN and dealership info?

What IS that noise?

Sometimes you get it fixed...
Sometimes, you find it's something else:
