Yes it would be smart to wait. If for nothing else there are likely to quirks and issues pop up you didn’t think about. I’m buying a first year but not because it’s a smart purchase. If I was smart I’d buy another lightly used Jeep then wait until I can get a lightly used Bronco in 4-5yrs. For me the Bronco will be my normal budget of $30k for a car then another $20k of “fun” budget. Nobody will convince me a $50k new car is a smart decision but it doesn’t have to be to be the right one for you.

I bought the 2nd year GT350 (2017) and was glad I did. There were issues with not having the diff cooler on the electronics package, so they added it in 2017. The 2017 was much more preferable to the 2016.

I'm waiting for the 2022 model for budget reasons, but not really disappointed. It'll give me an opportunity to see how things play out regarding trim levels and accessories.
I'm waiting for a larger motor and to see what FCA does in the new competitive marketplace. They ain't hurtin for sales on the Wrangler with 200K+ per year sold, but this is going to make them better. The 392 Wranger has my full attention. Lets see what price point they put that out in. They got that 392 in $37,000 Scat Pack Challengers so Im hopeful. Lets see what that does and then what Ford does as a reponse.

I think i read Mike Levine say that one of the safety features of the mid package becomes standard on all Ford models in 2022. I cant remember what.

im not waiting.

Automatic braking has to be standard to I believe all vehicles by 2022. Might be what he was talking about.

I was thinking of waiting for the 2022 Raptor/Warthog Edition. But heard rummors it wasn't coming until 2023. Once I saw the First Edition on reveal day I cracked and couldn't hold out. Slapped a $100 resevation deposit down and figuared I could always trade up in a couple years for a Raptor/Warthog Edition.

My plan is to wait for 2nd year to see how they do since I'm still on the fence. Maybe they'll add a white appearance package or something neat. Probably regret my decision after seeing the first ones out driving around

I bought my F150 in 2011 when the Coyote was in its first year. I still have it and have never looked back.

Waiting for 2022 isn’t because of “kinks” for me, rather because that was when I’m looking based on my retirement plan lol

Why not wait until 2023 when they get the 2022 kinks worked out and provide more options?

I sold my 08 4runner about a month ago because I was offered a ridiculous amount of money for it IMO. Was an 08 1 owner limited with 140k miles.

I really would rather wait for a 2nd year especially since itll only be a few months but I have no car. Im good for now as I WFH and cant go on site anywhere anyway. Who knows how long this will last tho...
