I am using a 45L refrigerator. So far, I feel good. The cooling is fast, the compressor is quiet, and the power is not high. It is ok to use the car's 12V. If you want to talk about the shortcomings, maybe it is a little heavy! In the hot summer, my children and I cannot lack of Coke.

I also own a fridge cooler and absolutely love i! I also have a power bank that allows me to power it on the go! They are absolutely worth it and are quickly replacing ice chests for that given purpose! When not on the road, i keep mine in my office and this thing freezes down to 0-F. I have had mine loaded with 4 gallons ice cream (left over from B-day bash) and they are rock hard Days later.
I highly recommend you add ICECO fridges to your research list!

Also, A fridge cooler + powerbank + solar panels = indefinite refrigerated food during a SHTF scenario.
