I'd be fine with a floor mounted switch, my first half dozen vehicles had them.

I miss vent windows. They wouldn't work on the new frame-less Bronco windows but they are - or were I guess - so handy. I guess when all vehicles started coming with AC there wasn't a need for the vents any longer.
As I am still a smoker, I really miss vent windows.

No. this isn't 1965. it's not hard to take the a finger off the back of the steering wheel to pull on the headlight stalk to turn on the high beams

Is the lack of a floor mounted high beam switch.

Cruising down the road at night, you see a car coming, with a little flick of the foot “klu-chinnnnng” low beams. A few seconds later, without changing your grip on the wheel “Lou-chinnnng” high beams again.

Anybody else with me on this?
For the last 35 years I've got used to the hi beams on the column..
Heck I had a valiant that to "squirt" the windshield, you had to pump it with your foot.. and the vents were boxes by your leg...

You can keep your floor dimmer. My old Gladiator has a nasty habit of leaking water down the firewall and following the dipper switch harness. When the switch fails you are left with no lights. Yeah great feature. Not everything old is better.

Old school!
I truly miss the floor high beam switch,
But Ford has lacked imagination. Clearly the Biggest Oversight, we're missing the Rhino seat.

Here's a good example

How old are you????

I remember them too but my first car was given to me by my grandma when I turned 16 in 1985.

1959 DeSoto Firesweep Sportsman.

The biggest design oversight is a executable product launch.

Executable product launch during the first pandemic in 100 years. Have folks put down $100 bucks for a reservation, and sell out the first and maybe second year's production is a fail? I don't want any part of what you're smoking. It seems to make you disillusion...

There are three basic parts to product launch; promotion, distribution and support.

They get an A+ on promotion, no argument there. And you're right, they probably have enough reservations for 22 MY but that's only because they cant get the 21 off the assembly line until June at best because they can't seem to get there act together to get to step 2. They can't even take orders in December and had to postpone? Sad.

You must be 70 years old, like me. The foot button hi beam was on Fords in the sixties.
