The real question is what kind of nano ceramic paint correction, and self healing PPF did Tricky Dick use on his Bronco before he attempted to go on this trail? The wrong products may have compromised his Bronco’s rock crawling ability.

Wow…..lots of crawling experts here. I’m learning a lot looking at all of the pretty pictures.

I looked at the photos and immediately had an anxiety attack. I can’t imagine taking a $60,000 vehicle over that type of terrain. My badlands tackles those speed humps like a champ—smooth as silk, almost like I’m flying.

See that's why you get poverty specs. I only drug 50k over that. 😁

And yet, flying through the desert with the same $60K vehicle @ 80-100 is perfectly safe. What could go wrong. I mean it was made for it.

Doesn't ever single body panel on the sides come off. I'd be doing that.

WOW!! Out already. That was fast. Pricey, but when you consider you don't need gear swaps or suspension of any kind. You do lose out on up travel that you would get from a typical susp lift though.
Nothing says you can't do both!

Ahh, what's another $16k at this point. I'm sure the Youtube revenue will more than compensate and it will be paid off in no time.

Limited education my ass!

You’re a freaking professor at the University of Wisconsin! Such a joker! :ROFLMAO:

Speaking plainly is a virtue, just be fair and with some compassion.
Like most here, I too, am just a simple man... I am living a sailor's simple life.

That would an an awesome set up but you would still want better upper control arms as well as Steering rack and rods but the springs, shocks are ok for now and so are your CVs which is great. I would want to drive it first though to see. Pretty sure the gears are straight cut and can be noisy. Love the idea of it. :)

I agree. I won't wheel my Bronco as hard as I did my XJ, but I will enjoy it more. For me it's more about getting out there and enjoying the outdoors than it ever was about conquering the biggest obstacles. I'll probably end up being more of a bypass Bob on the optionals, but when it comes down to it, I won't shy away from using the truck if that is what the trail calls for.

Agree. I'll still stick the nose of the Bronco into what the Jeeps do, just very carefully. :)

In this pick the Bronco had 200 miles on it.

So 35’s with no modifications is not an accurate statement
33’s it is
thats not accurate. I have had 4 JLURs. All ran 35s. 3 were no lift. my recent is a 2021 diesel, running 35s on Mopar beadlocks. Can wheel and fully flex and turn with zero rubbing.

with that said, the diesel is different and has longer jounce tubes so will never rub. my 2019 v6 did rub at full stuff turning a little. different wheels would have solved that.

I 100% agree that a Bronco is not a "rock crawler", but it can do some rock crawling. it just wont be apples to apples with a Wrangler. but its not a 1:1 comparison anyways. A Bronco would do 95% of what I need offroad, and be better on road. so I take that as a win. I am passed trying to build a hard core rock crawler as a daily driver anyways. I think a Bronco is a great fit for most, but its not equal to a wrangler on the super hard trails. yes it can be built to keep up, but put the same into a wrangler and get even more out of it.
